A few months ago people were complaining about water in the boats and being soaked through. Did the fix the problem?

Rode it three days ago and just got a little mist of water. No more than you would get with one of the misting fans they sell at the park.

Rode it 4 times in the past week. Once I got a huge plop of water on the top of my head from a cannon in the water, but I was sitting on the end of the row. Not enough for a soaking but my head was pretty wet. The other times it was just a mist.

I rode it 3 times last week and there is no longer standing water on the boats (that I witnessed) and I didn't notice people getting wet. As @Loopster said above, you may get unlucky with a splash from a cannon, but overall, it's much improved from the last time or two I was in WDW.

I rode it back in early March and didn't get wet. However, there was water in some of the bottoms of the boats.

We rode it last week and did not get wet nor did we see standing water.

We rode it three weeks ago and my brother got a little damp, but he didn't find it enough to even mention until the ride was over and I asked if anyone had gotten wet. I didn't notice any standing water in the boats at all.

We rode multiple times on two different days back in March and had no issues with water in boats- just a few splashes. We were concerned because DS was in a leg cast but it didn't get wet at all.

I noted standing water in the boats in December and March, and the flume part was quite splashy. But in May, both items appeared to be resolved. I like the touch with the cannonball splashes. It heightens the experience nicely.

Been on it many times in Dec, Jan, March, April, May ....................about 50/50 to get in to wet seats, about 1 in 4 to standing water in the boat, about 1 in 3 rides at least one of us gets a good bit of water and the rest we get misted. Disney has it on the sign now you might get wet and I think I saw the sign at Shanghai says the same so I don't think they have a problem with the showering.

I got a little water on my leg, but I was nowhere near "soaked". Plus it was 90F outside, so it evaporated pretty quick. :p

Rode it this morning, sitting on the outside and got the slightest of splashes. That was it.

To put things in perspective You will get wetter in the Florida summer rains than this ride.

We rode it back in May. Some fun splashes from the canons was all the wetness we experienced. Seems they have fixed whatever was causing the drenchings previously reported.

My fiancé and I rode it in January. For the drop there was a reasonable plop of water thrown on us (but nowhere near Kali level). I had my poncho on my lap that I ducked under since I heard the horror stories of the splashiness but my fiancé had a few large splotches on his shirt and his hair was wet but not soaked. There was no standing water.

It depends who is in the boat with you and where they are sitting. I've seen boats with water in them, I've been lightly splashed, I've seen people in my boat come out drenched... They are better at spreading out people and not overloading a boat now so it's less likely (but not impossible).

There was also a sign added that you might get wet.
