Ok so I know we won't get everything done but should we just concentrate on one park or do a little of each?

Our children are 2, 9 and 11.

We were thinking just doing Disneyland as our 2 yo loves Buzz. And from what I have read the Cars and Nemo rides are not suitable for a 2 year old.

Looks like there would be plenty to do in Disneyland to keep us busy for a whole day.

We went to Disneyland California last year when son was only 6months and we took the whole 5 days to see MOST of both parks. Which is why we figure that one day in one park will be plenty.

Can you please give advise if we are going to regret buying a one day one park pass. We will be staying in Paris so catching the Train out to Disneyland.
I have noticed that the 2 parks one day pass would only be 16 euros extra.

thanks

One day is not enough at DLRP. It might be enough if you only do the Studios. But with all the new attractions there it is also harder these days to get the whole park done on one day.
But you can't do the Disneyland Park on one day. During Christmas there are so many great shows and parades. (Once upon a Dream Parade, Candleabration, Fantillusion)

And it also depends on when you want to visit the Park. If it is a weekend the park is open longer but therefore the crowds are huge. And during the week the park closes earlier but there are not that many people.

I would suggest for the Studios at least one day and for the Disneyland Park at least two days.
But one day at the Resort is better than no day. ;)

Cars is certainly suitable for a 2 year old. My 16 month old loved it, and it was one of his favorate rides.

I'd say you would need two days minimum to see *most* of both parks if you mean just going on rides. If you wanted to see the parks and the details then you would need weeks there :thumbsup2

i agree with the others you could spend ages in the parks. i went for five days and i did the rides i wanted to do but missed a lot of shows and meet and greets and actually only looked around the studios. the studios has a lot of shows that you wouldnt have time to do if you only have a day. i would stay in the disneyland park and have a list of must dos. with your childrens ages i presume they will want to do different things to your two year old so it would take the whole day to please everyone

thanks for the replies.

Disney is an add on to a Paris holiday. So we will only do one day. It has to be a week day so I guess less crowds but early close.

We knew we would not do everything in one day, but you have made up our minds just one park. Now to choose which.

I think we will just pick our must do's. So must see the parade, Want to see the decorations and I believe Santa will be there. better go and check it out. We will be there next week ----- that came around fast!!

We are from Australia so going to Paris is not something we can do often and I really want to see Paris. Been 13 years since we were last there.

Again thank you!

If you are only going to do one park then do the Main park as there is slighty more to do then the Studios for your children at their age:goodvibes

I'd definately go for the main park if you are only there one day, much more for younger ones, but there are also great rides in the studios for your older two.

Perhaps your group could split up so that all 3 of them get to have a great time?? The older 2 would probably like the Rock n Roller Coaster in the studios..

I personally think that it's more than possible to get round most of either park in a day (not both though).

It depends on the crowd levels though - if you go during school holidays then it would be a struggle.

The only thing is though, it would require a lot of rushing around and would leave you with very little time to take in the sights and sound of DLRP as you would be rushing from ride to ride.

It would also need to be planned to near military precision, which I personally think would remove a lot of the fun from DLRP and make it less enjoyable than if you pick your favourite bits and focus on those.

Hi, we went for just the 1 day about 2 years ago as an add on to a Paris trip, and we did manage to get alot done (but there was just the 2 of us). No you won't see everythign but if you spend a bit of time picking out what you want to see then I' sure you will be able to get around you r must see's!!!

we have done a few daytrips in the past ( as part of a longer holiday)

although we didnt see / do EVERYTHING ,with a little planning you can see / do a lot :)

make a list of definite rides / things you want to see etc
make use of fastpass and you should get round a lot of things :)

Enjoy

xx
