Is OJ Innocent?

I just dont understand how one person could kill 2 people, with a knife, and not be bruised or have more than a small cut above the knuckles of one hand. He had to have been close enough to both vicitms to stab them and nobody punched him, scratched him? nothing?? Who was that surveillence guy watching???

Well...OJ was a hall of fame football player. Very big man, very strong. His wife was a petite woman, and he caught both her and Ron Goldman completely by surprise. Ron Goldman wasn't a big man either. Not surprised at the outcome and the lack of injury on OJ.

In a perfect world, the guilty are convicted and the innocent are acquitted. IMHO in the real and imperfect world the best result is a few guilty people are acquitted, and NO innocent people are convicted.
Somehow now in our legal world, we get into the situation that OJ got in, criminally innocent, civilly guilty. Different standard of proof I know, but I really think that if you have one court case and you are cleared, that should be the end of it.
I have not watched the latest TV show on it, but covering the the first trial my opinion is he probably was guilty, but the evidence and case presented by the Prosecutors did not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. That adds up in a legal sense as Not Guilty.

Watching the Is OJ innocent series. Im about half way through the last episode. Should have stopped watching last night. What is wrong with every single detective looking at that timecard? They are so focused on the fact the the first punches were hand written. Does anyone notice there is a punch at the bottom of the card for Sunday? You cant have 2 Sunday punches in one week. The hand written must be for Monday. Also the former "busboy" stated the chefs leave around 9 - 9:30 on Sundays, though the Sunday Jason did punch, at the bottom for the card, clearly shows he left at 10:20pm. These people are looking at the wrong card. WE 06/19 was a Sunday. They should be looking at WE 06/12. Ughhhhh.

Lol...of course he's not innocent. I don't think there's anyone in the world, if they were being honest, who actually think he didn't kill them. Now, was the investigation the best...no, but yes he's completely guilty. It's sad, as the trial nor public opinion had anything to do with the actual victims. They were/are basically treated as nothings and non-important in the situation. Just goes to show, it's all about the money (or at least 99%).

I'm not saying he's innocent or guilty - I don't know, since I wasn't there. But one thing I've never been able to wrap my head around is how a 50-year-old man with arthritis was able to kill two people half his age. Further, both victims were in peak physical condition (one of them was a ski instructor).

I remember watching the other documentary Made in America and how DNA evidence seemed like "too much" for the jury.

How does this documentary deal with blood in the bronco, the same size footprint at the house, bloody socks and gloves?

I didn't watch the trial nor have I had any interest in watching the specials on TV about it, so I could be totally wrong but...could he have caught Ron Goldman off guard, where he didn't have a chance to defend himself? With his wife being an abused woman, I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't try to hit/punch or even scratch him (probably more worried about getting away), so all he would really need to do is catch Goldman off guard. He also could have had someone there with him that did the "dirty work" or he could have hired someone and not been there at all.

I have seen the gruesome crime scene photos, and all I can say is that the person who did it (OJ I"m talking about you) was most likely in a psychotic rage. Arthritis isn't going to stop that.

Just more proof that the legal and economic systems of this country are stacked against the average American. The rich and powerful live by different rules.

He wasn't a 50 year old man with arthritis. He was a 46-year-old retired NFL running back. 6-1, 212pound

I am sure he is guilty, I am also sure he is a victim of CTE which never gets mentioned, you can see why so many kill themselves

There are plenty of average Americans that go to trial and are found not guilty. They simply don't make the headlines.

Sorry, I'm sure there are exceptions (very few) but if you accuse me of murdering my wife (and I'm innocent) I'm taking the stand and answering every damn question you throw at me.

The jury wasn't incompetent, the prosecution was. They made a mess of that case from the beginning. I don't blame the jury at all for finding him not guilty. I still think he did it, or at least had something to do with it, but beyond a reasonable doubt? Not with the evidence presented in the trial.

I remember watching the trial a few times and thinking that the prosecuting might actually be trying to lose.

I agree, And with a knife! No bruises from them fighting back? You have to be pretty darn close to someone to stab them. I doubt the knife was 10 feet long. Didnt one of them punch him, scratch him, kick him ???
