We'll be there from November 13th to 20th. I know that this may be the week of Super Soap weekend. I also know that it's the end of the Food and Wine Festival at epcot, and the weekend of The Festival of the Masters at DTD. I'm a General Hospital fan so, I'm fine with SSW, and I'm pretty excited about the FaWF and the FotM. I'm just a little concerned. Do these events all draw in huge crowds? Will the crowds remain for the entire week, or just for that first weekend? I was there from July 27th-August 3rd in 2003, and the crowds were ridiculous. Will the crowds even compare to that time of year?

I think you will not encounter huge crowds and should have a great time touring.Even with the special events I think the crowds will me much less than what you encountered on your trip in July - August.::yes:: :wave2:

I went during Nov a lot with my family as a kid. Crowds are low and the weather is pretty pleasant. Only possible exception would be Thanksgiving week.

And even then, crowds are not as bad as during other holidays and spring breaks.

Thank you so much, I feel a lot better about it now. And thanks for the welcome :teeth: !

Hi we went last november the friday before Thanksgiving and left the wednesday before thanksgiving thinking that the crowds would be coming in then for the holiday. Wrong. It was miserably crowded and HOT. I livein Fla so the heat didn't surprise me but the crowd sure did. i will notgo at this time again and would not suggest it. there was summer waits at all the rides. 90 for splash,90 for buzz etc and all the fast passes were gone by latest 11am. Same in Epcot as well as MK. The first week in Dec is prety quiet. Good Luck!

ok, now I'm worried again . More oppinions please??

That's insane, even when I went in July-August fast passes were avalible all day, of course some times they would be for 6 hours later but still. Just how hot was it? I was hoping for nothing above, oh say, 85.

We went in 2000 during early part of Nov. We were there during Jersey week (aparently NJ schools are out & tons of residents head to see Mickey), Veterans Day & election day (which you will have this yr too). This yr Veteran's Day & Election Day are 2 different weeks. I think NJ week is usually first week in Nov but you may want to post a question about that. It got pretty busy in MK by about 11. Even the cast members were saying that they were suprised by how crowded it was. Other parks didn't seem crowded & we definitely used early entry. As for weather, didn't seem hot at all except for one crowded day in MK. It was actually a little chilly at times. We have been many times of yr & are talking about going back in Nov again this yr. We went 2nd week of Dec & it was very empty but heard last yr it was very busy even early Dec...also it was VERY cold & rainy the week we were there in Dec. Seems like there really isn't a time in past yr where ppl haven't witnessed crowded conditions.

November is a great time to go. We have gone various weeks in November for the last 5 years. Like someone else mentioned a couple of days before Thansksgiving gets too crowded. NJ week can be a little crowded but managable. Everytime we have gone it has been real hot. Weatherman down there says "Unseasonably hot" HMMM! For 5 years. I think it's time to change their view of when the cool weather begins.
