Is my late March G+ "plan" unrealistic?

I'm still working through my plan of attack for our 2 days at the end of this month. There are 6 of us (4 kids: 2 teens, 10, and 2) We have 2-day tickets and are adding hoppers the day or so before. Right now the plan is to add G+ (because crowds. ugh. I don't wanna) for ONE day and then decide about the 2nd day. I was GOOD at using FP+, and we almost never waiting in a standby line, but G+ was a disappointment when DH and I went in January. Part of that was starting it too late, but we weren't trying to maximize rides. I just don't know if I'm being unrealistic about fitting all of this in. We are not newbies to the parks, we know how to get around, and we are not slow walkers. There's nothing (besides Remy) in the ILL$ that we feel like we HAVE to do, and I think it's mostly me that wants on that ride.

Day 1 we are starting at AK (no etpe), and then hopping to MK and possibly Epcot after that. Rope dropping FOP (with a rider swap), going to NRJ, and then the safari, and then just kind of hanging out, eating, and waiting until we can get into MK AT 2:00. Starting at 7am I want to start stacking LL for MK rides (BTM, Meet Mickey (splitting the group for these 2), JC, BLSS) and then crossing my fingers for TT and FEA (split group) in the evening.

Day 2 we are hitting HS first (WITH etpe.) We are rope-dropping ROTR, MFSR (rider swapping again), and then *probably* heading to Toy Story for SDD and TSMM, looping back for Star Tours at some point. My kids have no interesting in RR or TT. I would really like to get on MMRR, but I don't see how we can do the 2 star wars rides AND still get over to Toy Story before the crowds are too busy without using G+. So if we are STUCK using it to avoid 2 hour lines, should I book SDD or MMRR at 7am? And after I book the first (or 2nd) LL in HS, I'll try to stack whatever we missed on Day 1.

Is this unrealistic? Am I over-estimating how much we can get done?

On Day 1 are you talking about trying to reserve Test Track and Frozen after stacking all of your MK rides? If so, I think it’s highly unlikely you’ll be able to do that. Times for both of those rides tend to run out quite early, making it quite difficult to even get them both on a day you start reserving at 7.

Yeah, that was the hope, with 3 of us heading to TT while the other 3 went to FEA. There's sooooo much discussion about how quickly the LL quota goes for the HS rides, but I haven't seen a ton for other stuff (such as the Epcot rides) so I wasn't sure if those were still in the extremely-sought-after category they were. Sounds like I will have to re-evaluate that idea.

If you know how to use the system well, you can really maximize genie plus. I rode all of the big rides at Hollywood Studios in one day during Spring Break with genie plus, and then some using standby at rope drop all before 4pm. You should buy Genie Plus for Hollywood Studios. That park is not fun without it. I would get SDD first because that always goes within the first minute of 7am, and MMRR runs out over an extended time. A way to get availability to show up is to refresh the page a lot. This causes a full availability check and more times could show up. This is how I rode everything. You should be able to get everything done by using genie plus in Hollywood Studios. For Magic Kingdom, go for Jungle Cruise first, and then big thunder mountain, and then pick whatever is most important from there. Those Epcot rides are most likely not possible as they are both the fastest to go, but just keep refreshing and you could get them to show up. Hope this helps!
