Is my contract stuck in limbo?

We were in a grand villa at Jambo 10/5-12 for 7 nights & the only day they took out the trash was the day 4 trash & towel day. I only noticed because w/ 9 people there was a lot of trash .
I knew there was a room I could take my trash to if I wanted because when I first bought DVC they didn’t do the daily trash/security checks & you had to take your trash out yourself. Last Dec./Jan. in our 1 br. @ VGF they took our trash every day & in Nov./Dec. 2023 at AKV Jambo in a 2 br. they took our trash every day.

I was at SSR and RIV a few weeks ago and had it daily.

Going this weekend to RIV again so I’ll see if we do. But, since it has started, I have never not had it happen.

We’ll be back at the VGF in a couple months, so we’ll see if our stay earlier this month at Jambo was an outlier. Like I mentioned I did spot a group that appeared to be training/onboarding w/ housekeeping & figured Jambo was likely dealing w/ housekeeping staffing issues, or maybe we had a new employee who didn’t realize there was a villa behind those double doors at the end of the hallway - everything else was fully staffed & the front desk actually had more CMs working at the counter than I’ve ever seen there.

Makes sense, it would be unfair for owners who dont own resale to have to pay for that, thats how I feel about housekeeping charges in my dues, we never stay long enough in one hotel for a full cleaning

Well, look at it this way - when I check into a room I'm really hoping they did a full cleaning after the last occupant! Don't mind paying for that at all.

Our last two stays were at VGC (this past July) and VDH (June of ‘24). We didn’t have our trash taken out except on day 4 for either of those stays. We wondered if the trash service was only happening at WDW.

Idk about DLR but they take my trash daily at HHI.

I just extended two of my 7 night stays to eight nights so I can get two more full cleanings, that'll learn 'em
