Is mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant always closed on labor day?

We've planned to visit Knott's Berry Farm on our next trip to Disneyland at the end of August and early September. As part of that trip we would like to visit Knott's Berry Farm and on our last trip (which was our honeymoon) we had a great time at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Restaurant so that is an important reason for us to visit the park. We planned to visit the park on Labor Day (since then there is Ghost Time Alive and we could combine it better with our Disneyland tickets) but now I saw that you can reserve through Open Table for any day in that period for almost all times except the whole of Labor Day. I don't think it's full (as the rest of the weekend has plenty of availlable spaces, it's only that day that is completely unbookable).

I don't see any information about the restaurant being closed on Labor Day though. If it's closed we would go on Sunday instead but that messes up the rest of our plans in terms of reservations and such so I wanted to check to make sure it's actually closed. The only way to get information about it seems to be to call them but since international calls are very expensive (we're from the Netherlands) I thought I'd try my luck here and ask if there is any special occasion on that day; is the restaurant always closed on labor day, do they just don't take reservations on that day or is there any other particularity? I tried calling the number for you, it is recorded info only so you are smart to not waste an international call! The recording says reservations are only available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so my guess is there are no reservations on Labor Day since that is a national holiday for us. I’d be very surprised if the restaurant was not open that day, as its closing hours correspond to park hours. I’m a bit far away to check in person, maybe someone who is more local can respond for you.

I played around with the reservations, and it seems that for any day that reservations are available, they're only available for 5 PM and 5:15 PM, even though it's typically open from 11 AM to 9 PM. I think there are some earlier hours where they're open for a limited time breakfast menu.

OpenTable is showing reservations for Monday-Friday. But as I noted earlier, there only seem to be two reservation time slots on any day. The vast majority of customers are clearly going to be walk-in, and that's the only option for weekends.
