Is Morning Extra Magic Hours Still Good?

Has FP+ changed this? We used to get a LOT of popular rides fine during that morning magic hour. Plan is: HS EMH 8-9, then use FP+ at MK on Wed, May 21 MK EMH 8-9, then use FP+ at HS on Thu, May 22 Possibly AK 7-8 EMH on another day. We may also attempt to arrive go MK's 24 hour party at 6am on Friday, May 23.

We just got back 4 days ago - we made our fastpass+ for afternoon/evening then got to park about 20 - 30 minutes early (even for early entry) and it really helped to get on more rides - with less wait. After it got crowded we either hopped to the park that we had made the fastpass+ for (if different ) or stayed if we were already there. Still not a fan of the new system though.

It's been awhile since we did morning EMH, but we were at the last 24 hour event. We were able to do a ton in the first few hours the park was open, so if you don't mind getting up early, that could be a great option.
