Is Mickey's BBQ worth 2 TS?

Is Mickey's BBQ worth 2 TS credits if you are on the standard dining plan? We are also doing CRT and that is also 2 TS. And is it possibly too cold to go in December?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who love MBYBBQ. We didn't love it. It was O.K., but 2 TS credits....I wouldn't do it.

for 2 TS credits in that "type" of show, go to the Hopp Dee Doo. Just my opinion.

I don't think it operates in December. I think it is just a summer show.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ is seasonal I forget which month to which month but definitely not in December I remember that much (summer months) . I think it's in the dining plan guide that you can download.

My friend and her son and daughter in law went Dec 08 to Mickey's backyard BBQ and thought it was ok but not worth 2 TS. Maybe people with kids would enjoy it more and think it was worth it. There was alot of singing and dancing with the characters which the kids enjoyed. The food was a buffet which was decent but nothing to brag about. I agree, I thought the Hoop De was a better use of 2 TS. But, then again everyone is different. You might enjoy it.

It's been 5 years since we went, but I remember it being bbq food, and unlimited beer & wine. It was fun, but I probably would not use 2 TS for it. It is also outside, so you have to deal with bugs and heat, though I do remember that they had fans going. We are going to do Hoop Dee Doo this time, and I have heard much better reviews of it!

I wouldn't do it in December.

If the weather is too cold and it's cancelled, then you are left scrambling to use those two credits.

Pigby- The buffet consisted of BBQ chicken, spareribs, hotdogs, hamburg, some kind of sausage, green salad, potato salad, cornbread, mickey bars and other popsicle type bars, iced tea, water and lemonade. I know there were some other items I can't remember. I was just getting over that stomach bug so I ate very little but the other people with me said the food was decent. We went in Dec and it was outside under an open building and was cold but not intolerable. The band played alot of Xmas songs which was nice but hardly worth 2 TS.

I was looking at this myself for June (decided against it because of heat) - but on disney's website it shows - seasonal- starts March 1st.
