Is Mickey "talking" in Toontown???

Can anyone tell me if Mickey is now talking to guests at his house in Toon Town?? I have seen videos from March of this year on YOU TUBE of him talking to guests....I want to take our DD there but am waiting until talking Mickey is NO longer a TEST, but a permanent daily part of the magic. We live in Wisconsin and our 7 year old has never been out to DLR. She has been absolutely CRAZY about Mickey since she was two and saw him at WDW. Most of the girls her age like the princesses but as far as she's concerned NO ONE tops Mickey. She even sends him cards for just about EVERY holiday!! Loves him with ALL HER HEART without a doubt!! So you can see why we'd like to wait until he's talking before we make the long trip !!! Thank you for your help

We were at Disneyland April 6-14 and he was not talking when we were there.

There is no telling when this will be a permanent feature. I was hoping that when WDW's MK gained its new Mickey meet and greet this would be the premiere of Talking Mickey appearing full time. Though the new M&G opened a few weeks ago and it's unnforunately not the premiere of talking Mickey.

If you want to get back soon I wouldn't hold off for that one attraction with an unknown start time.

we were at WDW in Feb for an award for my Hubby's company.. Talking Mickey came out and greeted us all at the ceremony

He was not talking on Friday the 8th . I did just do a blog post about Mickey's house on my blog (link in sig) though.

Thank you all for your input!! We have seen Mickey talk at WDW when he opens the MK in the morning and also during the stage show. But we want our DD to be able to have a conversation with him. I know it will be worth waiting for because she loves him with all her heart (We are also waiting for the new CARS Land to open.) Thank you again for your help.

I think this is a great idea. Definitely save your money for Carsland next year, and hopefully we'll get talking Mickey too! That would be awesome. And I love that your DD is a Mickey fan. Seems like so many girls are into the princesses, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I alway smile when I see a little girl in a Minnie costume.
