Is Matt Lauer a Democrat or Republican?

It's probably because he sat next to Katie all those years. Now there is a REAL Democrat. She is one that you can definately see through as far as her political beliefs. I remember an interview she did with Bill Clinton and I thought she was going to jump across the table and start kissing him.

Maybe she just thought he was hot?

Who cares how they vote-dear Lord. With all the available information sources out there, saying that the political affiliation of reporters matters is just lazy. Or how about when she kicked her heels off to RUN across DC to catch up with President Bush (the father) and she basically side smacked him with nasty questions about his knowledge of Iran Contra hearings and did so with the nastiest and smuggest tone. I thought she was going to hit him with a baseball bat. The poor man was just leaving walking out of his house with his wife, he thought it was a friendly visit. Yeah, you can read her political beliefs as easy as Dan Rathers. Of course that earned her all sorts of "respect" as a journalist. The fact she was so disrepectful to the President of the United States of America.

My personal favorite Katie days were right after Al Gore lost. She wore black. She was in mourning for a week or two. I really liked Katie back then, but that was ridiculous.

I thought Matt did a HORRIBLE job. Just a few obvious questions that should have been asked by any credible reporter:

1) How many Village People albums do you own?

2) Who was your favorite one?

3) I don't believe you, in a report back in 1987, you clearly indicated you preferred the Indian. Can you please explain this discrepency?

4) How many pairs of chaps do you own?

5) Have you ever worn eye liner, a skirt or high heels?

6) Do you own any whigs?

7) How many times have you had dinner with Richard Simmons?

8) What was your impression of the gay kid on UTUBE that made the plea for Britney Spears, and did you think he was hot?

Just a few, I could go on but......

Well those are all stupid reasons to vote for someone as well. Guess that is what is wrong with this country. The people that vote for someone for those reasons should do us all a favor and stay home the day of election!!! I don't let anyone make my decisions for me.

I don't care about Lauer's political affiliation because if he has a bias I am not seeing it. He is very good at his job and he has long been underestimated, probably because he is on a morning show. His interviews are usually hardhitting enough without being completely inappropriate or disrespectful.
