Hi,

We have visited WDW many different times of the year, but never in March. We are thinking of going the 1st week of March 2010 and would like to know if anyone can tell us about crowd levels, typical weather and whether or not this is a good time to go.

We are hoping the 1st week will keep us ahead of most of the Spring Breakers, but not sure?:confused3

Thanks so much for your input!!!!

There's always the chance for Spring Breakers once you get into March time period. We were there the 2nd week of March this year, and the crowds were not bad, except as it got to the weekend (cheer groups), it did get more crowded. We found the weather to be perfect, but you get what you get. We wore shorts every day. The week before we went was reported to be quite chilly, for Florida. First time we totally missed out on a rainfall for our whole stay. Now, this year the Princess half marathon was the first weekend. You may want to look at what kind of events are scheduled for when you would like to go...

We went the last weekend in March this year and it was great! The crowds were not bad at all. The weather was wonderful. A little cool in the morning and not too hot in the afternoon. We are planning on returning next year around the same time.

Thanks so much for the heads up about the Princess half marathon, we were not aware of it. We are thinking of altering our plans by a week to avoid this so thanks again.

:cheer2:

I was there for Princess weekend this year and I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The end of Feb and beginning of March have always been our favorite time of year at Disney.

Th first time I went was the first week of March, 2006. I was shocked at being able to walk into every ride, after reading about long waits. I met a couple with APs, and was talking to themwhile waiting for the Beatles sound-alike band. The husband knew all the statistics about attendance. I asked why the parks were so empty, and he told me that I was lucky to come just before Spring Break, and that attendance would start going up the next week.

I'm having a hard time looking for future scheduled events. Where exactly did you find this? I too am planning a March 2010 trip. Thanks again.

we went at the end of march this year and it was awesome. we really didn't wait for anything more than 10-15 minutes without fast passes.

We were there also in the 2nd week of March this yr and the crowds werent too bad during the 1st part of the week but Cheerleader crowds lingered in on the weekend!!! the weather was great, nice and warm (mid to upper 80's all week). was a nice change from the snow and rain we had been having at home.

We were in WDW in March of this year. It was very crowded, I think part of the huge crowds was due to the deals they were giving get 7 for 4... not sure though, I was really surprised at the crowd levels. But hey what do I know?

We were there the 14-22nd of March. Weather was great and crowds were not bad.

Remember - Easter is Apr. 4th in 2010 (week earlier than this year)
