Is making special occasion cards for each ADR a dumb idea?

Will I get booed out of a restaurant?
I was thinking about making a cute little special occasion card to give the greeter/server at each ADR we have booked.

I'm not sure I understand. What's the point? What do you expect to happen from it? It sounds a little obnoxious to me. I think having all the celebrations listed on every ADR is probably enough to alert them that each meal is a special meal for you.

I say do what you want to do. I will say last year i put 1st trip on all meals under the special occasion section when you book your meals online and not one got acknowledged out of the whole 6 nights.

No need to get snide, she is simply excited about her first trip. Too bad they didn't "stop all this celebration stuff" before you got married. Also, to get "special treatment", you must have annotated your wedding on your ADRs, wore buttons, or wedding ears.....which is just a more subtle way of handing out cards.

OP....be sure to wear your wedding ears and buttons, you get BUCH of congratulations from CMs and strangers alike, it's lots of fun! I got married at WDW and honeymooned last year too, and it was experience that I'll never forget! Best of luck on your upcoming nuptials!

wearing the celebration pin, can make nice memories, and in sum restaurant you can recieve a card with all the servers signing it which is anice touch.

OP -- have a WONDERFUL time there, and what a great bunch of things to celebrate. Sounds like lots of things are going very well in your life recently.

I was there for (one of) our anniversary
it just happened this way as it was after a cruise with family and the air fare made it cheaper to stay...
I had it one the ADR for the day of ONLY...with nothing special happening
We did wear our Buttons some days
we did get a free small dessert at one place just for wearing the buttons not on the ADR...
mostly CM's Congratulated as we walked around the parks which was by far nicer then anything for free
it all depends on the CM just remember to say thank you... if at a restaurant and something special happens tip more....
CM's do not have to go out of their way to make you feel special and will not if people expect it and act it.... The are people in the end who may have just ????? themselves
