Please help! I just realized I there is a MB early hour for Fantasyland when we will be in WDW...but I already made ALL my ADR's and wasn't planning on going that day of MB...should I rearrange everything to get to the park an hour early for Fantasyland that day?..or just get there the other day planned at rope drop and hit Fantasyland without the characters...my boys will have a chance to see their favorites at character meals..i'm just wondering if it's worth it to ride the rides early? thanks.

We are super excited about this hour. We plan to arrive early for rope drop and this hour. It will be my nephew's first hour ever at Disney. LOMH includes fun with the characters: playing games, riding rides, etc. are possible, not guaranteed. No autographs allowed, just fun. You'll have a chane to get your kid on some popular rides when its cooler and very short lines, a good deal for you.

We went to the Magical Beginings early hours last August and it was VERY cool, cool enough that I planned my itinerary around it this fall. The lines were short (never really any wait, except for Dumbo and that was still pretty short) and the characters were running around, Stitch was riding Dumbo, Peter Pan, Hook & Wendy playing follow the leader, it was perfect for my 2 1/2 year old daughter.

That being said, if it means re-doing your whole vacation plan and it will be a pain or causes you to have to change ADRs or something...I am not sure it is THAT cool. Your kids would never know what they "missed."

I've not been to this but why don't you keep your current ADRs and then see if you can get them for a different day. Then, if it works out that you CAN get those ADRs on another day, you can cancel the old ones. But, like was said before, your kids won't know what they are missing.
For me, though, it would be worth the short lines because I see people standing in line for Dumbo, etc. and they look absolutely miserable at times. Those lines can get very long! Plus, the disney crazed person that I am, I'd love the opportunity for my daughter to ride a ride with a character. That would just be too cool.

We attended last August with our DD3, and it was the highlight of our trip. There were lots of characters roaming around, riding rides, playing games and it felt like we were the only people in the place. My DD played at the pooh playground with all of the Pooh characters for a long time. Tag with Tigger, tea with Pooh ,and Piglet caught her as she went down the slide. My DD and Snow White walked around FL holding hands and talking, and we road the Carousal and Dumbo Ride with Stitch and Chip and Dale.

Of course there is no guarantee that your visit would be the same, but we would definitely plan to do it again if we were there during MB (we are going at the end of June ).

Does anyone know the ages on this? My youngest will be 5 when we go and my oldest 7. I thought it was 5 and under - I'm sure I don't have to leave my 7 year old behind. LOL!:confused3

It's only "recommended" for the 5 and younger crowd. Anyone can go to it. We took our DS7 last year (our only), and had a ball. He played games with the characters, rode on TWO rides with characters, and took tons of pictures.
