Is Magic Express on for those who buy packages?

We are flying into MCO, and may stay a night or two in Orlando. If we stay at a Disney resort, can we still have complimentary Magic Express from the airport even if we are not going to a park on this trip?

Yes. Anyone staying at a Disney resort is eligible for DME at no additional charge. You do not need to purchase tickets or a package.

Thanks very much!! That may weigh in on our choice of hotel before our cruise. We have a couple days to play with before heading to Port Canaveral. Disney resorts are higher, but at least we won't need transportation from the airport.

Magical Express is complimentary between the airport and WDW resorts. To go to the cruise terminal in Port Canaveral, the DCL bus is $35 pp each way - whether from WDW or the airport.

We aren't doing a Disney cruise (gasp!) We are doing Royal Carribbean. There's 3 of us. I was just going to contact a shuttle company.

I was underwhelmed with resorts at Port Canaveral area...so I was thinking of staying at Disney for 2 nights. Trying to decide on staying at Coronado Springs which we love, or possibly trying the Hilton Orlando which has a lazy river and looks nice, but no free transport from the airport.

ME is for any WDW resort stay - no package required. We're using it for a 1-night room-only stay on 1/1/13 (before our package kicks in on 1/2).
