Is Living w/ the Land at Epcot worth going to?

DH and I went on this for the first time in March and we really liked it. I wouldn't stand in a long line for it, but then again I won't stand in line for anything!!

It's worth doing at least once.

I really enjoy this ride too!:thumbsup2 I ride it while DH & kiddies go on Soarin and then we all go on when they are done. It is relaxing, educational and interesting.:)

Minus the awful songs :teeth: we really like this attraction and it is a must-do for each EPCOT visit.

I don't remember any awful songs...only the really good one "Let's listen to the land we all love, nature's plan still shines above....listen to the LAAAAAANNNNNDDD!!!!" :thumbsup2

DH loves this ride, we go on it every time we are at Epcot, sometimes multiple times

We love it and so do our 6 & 2 yrs. old kids. :thumbsup2

Re the Fast Pass on it- I strongly suspect they put it there to confuse people who've walked all the way downstairs looking for the Soarin'FP.

Not that I have done that, no it was my mom who stuck both tickets in and got- FP for Living with the Land. :rotfl2: (It was actually a 45 minute stand by wait at the time.)

(Mercifully, it still gave us FP for Soarin in the minutes it took us to walk across to the other side.)

Agreed! :thumbsup2

I really like that song.

If you are there for Soarin why not hop on over. We love the land in generally and always eat at sunshine seasons then usually hop on living w/ the land and then soarnin. It's a nice cool relaxing ride. I also thought the greenhouses were interesting BUT if there was more than a 10 min wait (15-20 in peak times) I would skip it.

I like LWTL...it's a nice break from some of the more chaotic attractions. My kids like it as well and I agree with the pp..Sunshine Seasons is a great choice after you ride it.

Ya know, I honestly never even bothered going until our last trip and I'm really glad I did! It's very interesting and I really truly enjoyed it.

I love this attraction! Call me nerdy, but it's true!

And during the trips that I have taken the kids out of school for, we ride it and I make them include what they learned on it in their report for school.

I love how they grow the Mickey shaped pumpkins!!

I love this ride. Very informative, and even fun for the kids at times. The best part - Out of the heat and relaxing for a little while!!

We ride this once every trip. Often we get a fast pass for Soarin',and then get in the standby line for Soarin'. By the time we finish we still have a short wait for our fast pass time so we ride Living with the Land and then take a refreshment break. The LWTL line is a fast mover so we haven't waited longer than 10 minutes. Of course this plan only works it you get there early in the morning.

This ride is not exciting but it is interesting and I consider it one of the WDW 'classics".

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Some of our best memories at Disney were finding "hidden treasures". LWTL was definitely one of them. Being a family of "thrill-seekers", we actually rode this attraction on a whim -- we had won dream Fastpasses earlier in the day and LWTL was one of the fastpass tabs. We didn't know anything about it, but decided to try it -- and I'm so glad we did! It was very interesting, relaxing and fun. It was not overly educational -- just enough to have you amazed about the new agricultural technology. Loved the upside down bananas and mickey pumpkins! We'll be adding it to our itenerary every trip now! :thumbsup2

i agree- we do enjoy it, but i wouldn't wait long for it. We do try and always fit in, but we find a short line before we ride it. great to get out of the heat if you are there in summer too.

Ditto. My kids 4-8 are sponges for science/information and like it. We've never waiting for it more than 10 minutes though.

If you're planning on eating at the Garden Grill upstairs, its neat to see the ride that you'll look over while eating.

This really interests me, in a great way, as I'm majoring in Environmental Science, and no matter ho many times I hear the "Land" narration, it's still so new to me. Aquaculture, hydroponics...== YES!
