Is La Nouba worth $112?

I've been to LaNouba once and loved it. I'd definitely go again. It is unlike anything you'll see anywhere else in my opinion. My DD13 liked it, but didn't love it. She said it was too busy for her. We went our last night at WDW so she was probably more tired than anything. I too agree with Dan about seating. We sat in section 201, row AA, and had a great view.

We saw it in August and it is fantastic. I agree too about the seating, ours were in section 204 and they were really, really good. I would not want to sit in the most expensive seats. I think you get a better view of all the action in sections 203,204 0r 205. There is so much going on that you need a good view of the whole stage to really appreciate it.

Hope you decide to go and that you enjoy it as much as we did.

We paid around $100 for each ticket for a cirque show in Las Vegas. It was great!
However - when we go to WDW - we go for Disney. So after the room and park tickets $$$'s I would like to spend my time there ... IMHO

I agree with GSLand, I think that we will not see the show there, but rather wait to see one of the others, maybe in Vegas or traveling. Disney will be for Disney.

La Nouba is worth it to us. This will be our thrird time seeing it. The first was in the middle of 205, the second was by in the back of 104. This time we have tickets for 11/7/04, 9:00 in Section 103, Row C (I got them pre price increase) I'm looking forward to being up front.

Absolutly not worth it. The show is a nice evening but not worth 112.00 Not Even 100.00. I think 75.00 is more fair. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have to agree. I know it's the less common opinion on these boards though. For that price I can see a 3 hr Broadway show here in Toronto (Mama Mia, Wicked) and there was no comparison for entertainment value. I did it once with a CM discount and enjoyable but no way worth over $100.

We went to Mystere in May (Las Vegas). We sat Category 2 middle, on the other side of the aisle of Category 1. Paid less, but practically had the same view as Category 1. We enjoyed ourselves. Then again we're just 2 adults.

You don't have to get the most expensive seats! The show is seen well from any seat, really. It's better to sit further back than sit front and center.

I saw La Nouba a few years ago and absolutely loved it. FI and I will be seeing it on our disneymoon in a year and half. I have also seen a couple Cirque shows in Vegas, and La Nouba is one of my top faves (second to Mystere).

Personally, absolutely worth it!! I'll be seeing it for the third time in December and DFiance is seeing it for the 2nd (shhh, he doesn't know yet). The first time we were too close and last time we were a bit too off to the side, though as everyone said, there really is no bad seat. We will be sitting in 103, G, on the aisle and looking forward to the "in-the-crowd" sections.

It is a wonderful show, have seen it three times there and am sure I will again. I will purchase, as I have in the past, Cat 2 seating, sec 203, 204 or 205, row EE. Front and Center is not desirable seating, IMO, for La Nouba, or any Cirque show for that matter. Level two seating is preferred by most, including me.

I agree. Section 2 center are some of the best seats in the house. And yes it is worth the money.

We went a month ago. It was amazing! Although we have seen La Nouba on TV several times along with other Cirque du Soleil shows, it was awesome to see it live. It was such a special night that I will never forget.

We've only sat in the center of the first row, but I have a feeling that anywhere you sit has a good view.

DF and i really enjoy this show. it's something different but it's still a lot of fun to watch. we go everytime we're down there even tho we've seen it and OWN the DVD(DF loves the Cirque shows) we still love watching it. it's one of those "we KNOW we're in Disney because we're here!" things

Not to raise a old thread, but I just returned from Las Vegas and saw Mystere, we were in the last row of the Cat 2, near center and it was awesome. I plan to go to La Nouba when we are at WDW this coming May, I think that my DD who is in gymnastics will love it. Currently the show I want to go to has Cat 2 sec 203 row EE avail, I would actually like to be back a bit farther in the center. I just have to double check with DH whether it will be all 4 of us, or just the kids and I.

I said yes, but you can consider seating other than front and center. The view is good from everywhere.

Our family has been once and we all really enjoyed the show. It is so hard to describe it to someone. We did not sit "front and center" as I had read that so much happens above your head. We sat up higher and I was very glad we did. It is hard to say what is "worth it" to someone. I can say we enjoyed every moment and came out of the show saying, "Let's do that again!" My children were: DD16, DS11 and DS11.

Buy the video or the cheaper seats as all seats are very good.

We are thinking about going this year but still uncertain if two boys under 10 will enjoy it?? DH and I have talked about it the past three years and maybe this year should be the one. All your great reivews are making it sound so wonderful.
