Is La Hacienda Open for Lunch?

I have been unable to get an ARD for lunch for our upcoming trip.....Is is open for lunch?

Unfortunately La Hacienda is not open for lunch. During the lunch hour, the quick service location next door, La Cantina is open. They usually open up the side door of La Hacienda for additional seating, but food is only served out of La Cantina.

They open at 4 for dinner.

If you want TS Mexican for lunch you need to go inside to the San Angel Inn (or get the counter service outside).

During the first week that La Hacienda was open, I had a long talk with one of the managers about a bunch of things. I made a point to ask about lunch, and he said that once things are settled and some of the early wrinkles are worked out, they're considering opening for lunch.

So while the answer to your question is "no" for the moment, that may change within a year or so. The biggest obstacle for lunch might be working out seating issues between La Hacienda and La Cantina.

I am hoping that is the case- otherwise it seems to be a lost opportunity... We had to grab the 4:00 rez on Sunday the 9th, and hope we make our plane!!
