I haven't been there in 25 years, but have good memories of it. I think my DD's are old enough for it. So my next trip to DL, would it be worth it to add an extra day to go to Knott's Berry Farm? My girls will be 8 and 4 during our next trip.

Its almost 23 years since we visited so my memories are probably as hazy:)

It was the first "proper" theme park I visited (I don't count Dreamland in Margate:lmao:) and I was gobsmacked! I was glad I went there before Disney, but at your DD's ages they are less critical and I think they'll enjoy it. My sons (currently 19 and 13) would like to go because they love Snoopy, but would your kids know Snoopy? Its a lot less prevalent here than it used to be:worried: I don't think it should stop you going if you have time.:thumbsup2

We went on my first trip to California 3 yrs ago - DD who was 10 at the time loved it as thats the trip she got into roller coasters.
It was really quiet so she kept going round and round on some of them - I spent a lot of the day sitting watching her and DBF as Im not too keen on fast coasters and definitely not upside down ones (I have got a bit more adventurous though since that trip)
It was a fun day out and as it was so quiet we got on loads of rides but Im not sure how much your 4yr old will enjoy it as I dont remember there being loads there for younger children.
