Is Kidani just not that popular?

We own at SSR but stay in AKL every other spring. Love the animal views and the Wanyama Safari just cant be beat. Cant wait until spring 2017 for our next adventure there.

I like Jambo better when I stay in a studio, but for 1-2 bedrooms, I usually pick Kidani. The only exception is Concierge Level, I will take what is available!

We own at AK but I hate kidani. Too big, too dark for me. But we love staying in the club level at Jambo so that's where we use our AK points.

I can confirm that there were breakfast sandwiches in the gift shop at Kidani in December. We didn't pick up any as we always fix breakfast in our room. I did, however, pick up a few packets of hot cocoa!

I also recall there being oatmeal offered at the gift shop in kidani. you can get it with raisins too.
I prefer AK over SSR for the theming and love the lobby in both Jambo House and Kidani. Also, Sanaa at Kidani is my favorite table service restaurant overall.

We own at BLT but have stayed at Kadani, its all a matter of taste, my son and I really liked it but my wife and daughter preferred BLT. The one thing that was horrible at Kadani was the parking, if you plan to drive or rent a car when you get there be prepared after a long day at the parks to be looking for a spot to park and ending up walking quite far to your room once you have found parking they really need to address that I would drop the family off at the underground elevator then take 20 minutes to find a spot and then walked what seemed like a mile just to get to the room :).

Have stayed at both. Our stay at SSR was marred by the fact we were in the furthest group of villas from everything. As you enter SSR, we were on the immediate left. Our kids are old enough to go to the pools by themselves, but the walk was pretty far. And the resort was just too generic in theming for us. At Kidani, there are the animals, gorgeous lobby, easy to walk to everything, plus a really nice pool.

Plus at Saana's bar you can order off of the dining room menu and eat in the bar or do take out back to the room, and you don't have to have a reservation.

This is good to know. We are doing a split stay with our last two nights at Kidani, and I was unsure what we were going to do for a later dinner. Does anyone know if you can use dining credits and get the meal for take out? I think we may end up with a couple of credits left when we check out of the Poly, and I would much rather get take out than eat a late meal at Saana.
