Is Jungle cruise worth it?

My son (2 at the time) probably liked it better than AK because the "animals" were so close :) .. I just love the dry humor of the captains.

Kilimanjaro Safaris is serious and has real animals, Jungle Cruise is a lark with animatronics, bad puns, and funny skippers. Totally different IMO - I love both and would never skip them though. :)

If you have ridden it at Disneyland is it worth the wait in line to do at MK?

If you wouldn't go on the one at Disneyland again, I would skip this one too. There are more 'scenes' and they have different props but they are still the same flavor of corny jokes over a crackling mic.

It's a classic attraction. An of the classic "Walt inspired" attractions (tiki room, CoP, etc) it's one of the best. The show scenes are humorous and it could be a really fun time if you get a really good skipper. I 100 percent say it's a must do, even if you have been on the Disneyland version. Before 10:00 a.m. and after 7:00 pm the ride has virtually no wait at all. Do it. DO IT!!!

It is not worth any wait or the use of a FP+, unless you're not giving up another FP+ for it. We haven't ridden it since our second trip.

My kids love it, and any boat rides, so it's a must do for us. I like it for nostalgia and a peaceful ride away from the crowds. We arrive early and breeze through FL, Circus and Tomorrowland so we do FP+ for Jungle Cruise in the afternoon to cut the wait.

I agree. Don't burn a FP+ on this, but it's definately worth the ride, if the wait is short enough.

Did it twice last trip. Two different skippers, two different experiences. Found it highly enjoyable both times, but I can totally see the style of humor not being everyone's cup of tea.

We only ride it at night. It makes the animatronics less hokey and the tunnel part more dramatic.

I enjoy it at night the best. If you get a really good skipper, it's a hoot.

Oh, I loved it. Found it hilarious- that corny humour is right up my street! It's on my to do list for our next trip? :)

It's a great ride and fun to do both in the daytime and at night as each experience is slightly different. Your skipper will definitely add to the enjoyment as well.

We like it a lot! My little dgd gave one of her precious thank you cards to the skipper on her first ride. It really was awesome, he was a young skipper, and after reading it he got kind of quiet, and then gave her a special sticker thing. Since then, it is one of her never miss attractions

I could never miss Jungle Cruise, it's corny and totally fun. It's a Walt classic and also brings back nice memories of my first trip there w/my parents.
