I'm curious, the day before we're in MK, we'll be at AK with the real deal... is Jungle Cruise still worth trying to do?

It's not real. It's campy and corny. I enjoy it.
Is it worth it? You'll need to decide for yourself after you do it.
For me it's worth doing as long as I don't have to wait more than 15 minutes for it...

If you've never done it it's worth doing once to see if you like it. It's corny but enjoyable. I wouldn't wait longer than 30 minutes for it though.

I'm a fan of the Jungle Cruise because I like that corny, pun-y kind of humor. It is a classic. I wouldn't wait a lot time for it though. I use a FP. Lines for this ride can get pretty long.

going to AK has nothing to do with whether jungle cruise is "worth it" or not.
jungle cruise is so corny and "punny" and i'd never miss it.
in fact since it will be closed for refurb starting april 13th i added a park day to my package so i could go to MK on the 12th when i arrive specifically because i want to make sure i can ride it once.
you are the only one that can decide if its worth it to you.

i don't like, and never have.

But I'm doing again this trip b/c we're going with first timers.

I like JC. It's just fun. Besides it's no more miss worthy than Small World, Grand Fiesta, Winnie the Pooh or Peter Pan. They all have dated displays on slow moving vehicles, at least on JC you might get squirted by an elephant.

Classic Disney ride that I ever miss. I love the silly jokes and the relaxing ride. Maybe it is because it is one of my earliest ride memories from Disney, but I always get a fast pass.

It's a classic. Once you've done it once, try it again at night. It's an entirely new experience and twice as much fun.

Jungle Cruise is dated, silly, and can take quite a bit of time. That said, it's a must do for me. AK is also a must do for me, if that helps at all. The two are so very different, that you won't have any trouble with comparisons.

This is how I feel... though I will not be able to go on it, this trip, because it will be closed for refurbishment until my last day (unless it opens early).

We only do it if it's less than a 10 minute wait and we have nothing else to do.

I don't think it's anywhere close to being as good to sometimes warrant the long lines it can produce.

And going to AK has no affect on jungle cruise. There's no real animals on the JC

and miss the classic "two of his heads for one of yours" or "ginger snaps" or the famous back side of water ?? wouldnt miss it for the world!

And if you're lucky, you may even get to see the Jungle Book!

I love Jungle Cruise. It's silly but a classic and a must-do! Keep an ear out when you're queuing for the radio station- it's hilarious and I can't believe I never noticed they playing something in line until now!

A good skipper can make or break this ride. I had some hilarious ones, and some that make me think "please let me go, I'll swim back to the dock!"

I still love it and make at least 1 cruise per MK visit.

We love the Jungle Cruise! Especially at night. It's not an even comparison with the AK safari because they are so different. I think everyone should try it once and then you can see if it's "worth it" to you.
