I just booked a room through Hotel Kingdom and they sent me a Buy One/Get One Free coupon for Pirates Dinner Adventure. I'm arriving in Orlando on Thanksgiving Day and would like a 'special' dinner as we will be missing the family dinner. My question: Is this dinner worth the money? Even with the coupon it will still cost my family of 2 adults and 1 child over $77! (I know...it's Orlando!) I'm a budget traveler so it's hard for me to part with that much for a meal. Is it entertaining and how long did it last? Thanks. pirate:

pirate: Ahoy mateys! Are there no takers amongst thee? If you've seen the show, tell me about it, please...or I'll make thee walk the plank! Arrggg. pirate: :boat: :boat: pirate:

pirate: Ohoy mates!!!!!!! i saw the show 2 years ago,the show itself was okay ,the food :( not quite up to par with any dinner show i have been to in orlando! There is great crowd interaction,It can be loud and at times you can hardly understand the actors.Scale from 1-10 ,I rate it a 4,However i have read recently they have improved there show and the food was better.Good luck in choseing.pirate:

Thanks matey for ye answer. I might consider making ressies at a nice Disney resort. I've heard some are very good.

Congratulations on the weight loss!! It's hard to lose, and even harder to keep off...but you're doing it! I'm sure the family is proud!

A pretty good show we went to last year was araibian nites? Food was good horses were wonderfull,Server was funny,Lots of discounts for that show ,May i suggest ibid usa.com they have had some good deals on show tickets. And yes it is hard to lose and maitain your weight ,Thank God my wife is also doing atkins with me She has lost 47 pounds so far!!!!!

I too have heard Arabian Nights is good. Might look into it. Where are they located? I haven't been around much other than I-4 and Irlo Bronson. Staying on the lower half of I-Drive for part of this trip and I'm so excited. Can't wait to take the trolley and see all of 'the drive'...without having to battle the traffic I've heard about. :3dglasses

Thanks DaddyDon for clueing me in onto ibidusa.com. I found some money off coupons I can use (like the buy one/ get one for Titanic!) and have made a bid on 2 Arabian Nights tickets. Wish me luck with my bid! It should save me quite a bit of money...if it's accepted. I think my 5yo daughter would prefer to see horses (especially the unicorn!) over stinky pirates any day. princess:

Just a warning -- I've been to the Arabian Knights show and it's fun (my son was six and he loved it) but if you think pirates are stinky . . . . try a whole lot of sweaty horses, several of whom left "gifts" on the staging area, much to my son's amusement. But it's a good show, and my son still remembers it, so it apparently made an impression. Have fun!

I had wondered what DH would think if any 'gifts' were presented during our show...and while we're eating. Oh well, nature at it's finest. By the way, how's the food and service?
