Is it worth staying at the GHC or the DLH?

I am debating staying at the GCH right now. It's only $312/night and the DLH is $257/night. We have never stayed at the GCH so I don't know if it's worth the extra money. Also, does anyone have access to the annual pass rates right now? I just renewed mine and it won't let me see what they are for the dates of August 21-24th. If you could tell me the prices for all three DL hotels I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks so much :)

I've stayed at both - for me the GCH is worth it for the location closer to the park entrances. I was surprised how far the walk from the DLH was. And I like the look and atmosphere of GCH better (I was at DLH before the recent renovations so don't know how it's changed, but I really love the GCH lobby and style).

I just came back from 3 nights at the DLH and even with the construction it was sooo worth it! The new rooms are amazing, service was out of this world, and the new Trader Sams Tiki bar has the best theme I have ever seen in a lounge. I also love the location right by the monorail or walking through DTD was so much fun.

I also think the GCH is worth it. I stayed once there and then twice at DHL but my best memory and experience is the GCH.

For me it is but we only get to go once a year. We usually go in summer when we can take advantage of the pool options. Love the GCH.

I prefer the DLH to GCH. But right now! I don't think either is worth the price bc of the construction.

We just returned recently from our trip to DL. We had the opportunity to stay at the GCH for a change. It's something we have always wanted to do but opted against it simply due to the cost. Well, I can easily say that we may have a future of spending a bit more for our DL trips as we are now spoiled by that wonderful place! Everything and everyone was so nice. The little perks are definitely nice to have as well. For example, Star Tours Fast Pass was closed for the day at about 1pm. However, they keep one machine open and solely for the hotel Fast Pass you get with your room. I was able to get my Fast Pass for Star Tours when no one else could. That may seem like a small deal to some but at the time, it seems pretty cool to have. Also, having the Downtown Disney view on the 5th floor was cool because we had a great view of the fireworks and even able to put the TV fireworks channel on so we can hear the audio being played along during the show. The list could go on...... ;)
