I currently have reservations (two actually  ) at the HoJo's. The average price per night is 89.25. I have found the Park Vue Inn on Expedia for $81.80. Is it worth the savings to stay there? I don't need anything fancy, but I don't want a dirty dump.

I know a lot of you love the Carousel Inn and the Best Western Park Place, but I can't get either of those for under $100/night (this is for mid July).

Is the Park Vue okay? ...........P (Thanks in advance).......P

One more question... where/what is the "Anaheim Plaza Hotel"? I found it on expedia for average price of $70.20/night, and I found a map, but I cannot find it on my "Accomodations near Disney" map.... looks like it would be right where the FAirfield Inn is on my map. Did the Fairfield change names? Any recommendations? Thanks again for your patience!

I know some people find the Park Vue adequate, but I have never stayed there and never will. I had such a poor customer service experience that I just will not give them another chance.

About a year ago I had 2 reservations that I had made online for me and another family. Plans fell through and I had to cancel. Each reservation was cancelled online a week before our scheduled check in. The policy was 72hrs, so I was well within the policy. When I got my credit card bill, I was charged for 2 nights! I called the Park Vue who told me I had to work with the online site who told me I had to work with the hotel. They each claimed that it was the other party that charged me. I went back and forth for many days and no one wanted to take responsibility. I still had the confirmation page stating that I had cancelled in plenty of time. I finally got a manager of the online site to agree to review my printed cancellation that I faxed to her as well as a copy of my credit card statement. I finally got a check for the refund but because of this experience, I will never do business with Park Vue again.

And for the curious, it wasn't expedia or anything, it was an online booking agent that I was directed to after visiting Park Vue's website.

I'd stay with the HoJo - it's a great hotel.

In general the reviews of the Park Vue are not great. We stayed there and it was okay but the HoJo is very well worth the extra $10 per night.

The Anaheim Plaza has an extremely dated feel to it. My room was just okay and, with all the other fine places to stay nearby, I will not return. If you are looking at this Map http://www.beachcalifornia.com/dlmp.html it is labeled as the Vagabond Plaza, next to the Castle Inn and Suites.

Id also go with HoJo. The rooms come with fridges and free high speed internet, so you can post your pictures on the web and get the latest DL info. :earsboy:

Another vote for the HoJo - it really is worth it. Nice, decent sized rooms, very safe and very clean. 10 minute walk from DL, great restaurant across the street, very good shop on the premises, fridge and coffee maker in the room and very helpful staff. They also had minimal or no surcharges on telephone calls.

Just one word of warning though - the high speed internet access only works if you have your own laptop or other device - there are no terminals just internet access.

Thanks all for taking the time to respond.... there are so many DL hotel questions on this board, it must get tiring! Anyhow, I think we will go ahead and stick with the HoJo's. I really appreciate all of your ideas, suggestions, and comments! Thanks again.............P
