Is it worth renting a car?

We are driving(being shuttled) to Universal and back(Mears) on 2 days. PLan on taking a few cabs back after a resort dinner to our resort. We are there for 10 days, I wonder if maybe this would be the way to go. Could it be as cost effective to rent, than by using mears and the cabs. ANy other scenarios I should consider? WHat about a car seat for the 1 year old.

it really depend on the factor that how cab ride would u use and how many people are in your party. you have to do the math and research on car rental.

For me it will be party of 6. Just the amount of paying for Mears to have roundtrip to Universal is enough to rent a fullsize for 8 days. That not including cab ride to various resort for dinner. I like the flexibility of having a car at my convienence.
