Is it worth it to upgrade to an PAP??

I know that it will cost me approximately $80 - $90 to upgrade the ticket I now have (5 day for 2). I currently have a FAN Club rate at the PBH of $202, so I should be able to get the APH rate of $188.00. Do you think I would save enough in food and merchandise to justify the upgrade. We have several meals planned for on-site and with an 11 year old, I'm sure we will be buying plenty of souvenirs for him. Plus, it might also be an incentive to plan another trip before the AP expires next year. What do you guys think? Do you think we would make up the difference in food and souvenirs? Thanks!!!

In my opinion yes it is worth it we saved over $350 in 2 weeks just remember to use it at the counter service etc for juice refill as well it only save 10 cents but it all adds up also at Pat Obrians sunday-thursday 4pm-9pm a child gets a free meal as well with PAP plus u get 10% discount as well of food bill

We love our Preferred passes! Our next trip we are saving $100 per night on our club level room at RPR and you get lots of discounts on merchandise and restaurants--plus you dont have to worry about any blackout dates. Since we only get to go once or twice a year we dont want to worry if its a blackout time or not. I say go for it!
