My parents swear by this place and like it because they saw Tiger Woods there a few vacations ago (my Dad loves to see famous people!). Anyhow, I wondered how far this would be from WDW and if it is worth the trip?

I know lots of people like it and most likely I will go this year but the thing is the menu always changes so it is difficult to know what will be available during the weeks I will be in Orlando. Last time I went to check it out I did not like the items on the menu. They use only what is in season and available that particular week , thus the name Seasons 52. They re owned by the Darden group the same people that own Chili's, Maggianos, and On the Boarder.

I had to de-lurk to say this -
Seasons 52 is AMAZING. I highly recommend the trip off property (probably will take about 10 minutes by car). Yes, the menu changes but there are a lot of "staples" that remain on the menu. The flatbreads are always wonderful, the cedar plank salmon (which has been on the menu EVERY single time I've been there - and as a local, I've been a lot) is to die for. The service is always impeccable. I just can't say how wonderful it is!

Also, I had to correct the above poster - Darden does own Seasons 52, but they do not own Chili's, On The Border, etc - Darden owns Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones and Seasons 52. They are based here in Orlando. Brinker Restaurants owns Chili's, On the Border, Maggiano's, Macaroni Grill, and Rockfish. They are based in Dallas TX.

HTH,
Missy

I could swear that Darden owned Seasons's 52 but you are probably right. I knew it was owned by a large company with a restaurant chain that I hated. I must have gotten Olive Garden mixed up with Chili's. I know my was hesitation that S52 was owned by a company with chains I did not like.

Seasons 52 was one of the very best dining experiences we have had in Orlando. Do not hesitate to try it. It's excellent.

Darden's restaurants are Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze and Smokey Bones, and Seasons 52 of course.
