my dad told me some bad news this morning (how could he break my heart like this), and i was hoping its just a rumor, maybe you guys can tell me whats going on. my dad said they are shutting down spaceship earth, are they really? if they are, do you know if its going to open again? i love spaceship earth and its always been the first ride to hit at epcot...i think he said its closing in april or something...please tell me its not true!

It is too a rumor, it started from an exaggeration of what's actually happening. Go to the "rumors" board, they talk about it sometimes. It's more of a renovation, and they'll be adding/changing scenes in there and stuff. I like SE the way it is, so I hope the change is for the better!

when i went there last month the people at disney said that at&t were wth drawing their sponcer ship. it close in 2003 or 2004 cant rember which. they are thring to get new sponcership. the big ball will still be their but the ride wont be the same i will be somethin new. now this part is just a rummer i heard that it may be a thrill ride.
