....have you ever stayed here before?? If not, ask if you can get upgraded with a balcony room.....there seems to be a long-lasting debate over whether the rooms have a 'mold' odor. Chances are GREATLY reduced if you have sliding glass doors to let in some fresh air...I love, love, LOVE the location of the Dolphin - it was so easy to walk to the Boardwalk at night for a little entertainment!

Such an awesome time..AKL was amazing and I got the room above and across the hall from where I was in February...3542!

It was nice being on Lobby level..no elevators for the most part

At AKL now (Sunset Savannah room). The coffeemakers have changed to Cuisinart dual brewers. They take prepackaged pods of coffee.

Well I guess I will have to buy some DD pods before we go down or can you still use regular coffee in them.

Well, it seems that the holidays are bring out the emotions for all this year. I hope that everyone can find the Christmas spirit.

We are seeing Christmas through new eyes this year. The some of the Japanese really love Christmas and decorating for it. It is a sight to behold.

We have a bday to get ready for this weekend. DS asked for a Hidden Mickey Cake Now I get to make a Mickey Cake

I was just telling hubby I want to take a ride over to Japan and go fabric shopping. They have the coolest Mickey fabric that you can't find in the USA unless I pay the outrageous prices on Etsy.

Thanks for the advice, Kim! That is great information! This is my 5th stay at Dolphin this year!! (I like it - I really, really like it!!! ) Tori also told me this is one of her favorite resorts!!

I am a big fan of SPG and am Starwood Gold. The past couple of years I have always booked the least expensive room (I use the Teacher discount most often ) and all 5 stays this year, I have been given a balcony room (without even asking!) This stay we have a Pool view, ToT view!


Diana, Ava, Tracy, Mark, Tori and I were in 2nd row center for NPH last night!! He was terrific, but Ava slept through a little of it (that girl takes lots of "power naps"!! )

Tracy, Mark and I saw Illuminations from the bridge to France. Love, love, love the Holiday version!


The 6 of us are planning to do the DVC Merry Mixer at 3 today. (dinner at Ohana )


Planning to get over to AKL tomorrow. I won't be online again until after I get home.

Will post pics soon!

After a mostly marvelous trip I'm back. The tree in the day time looks so much more beautiful than it did at night. The lights were ORANGE. I usually have no problem whatsoever with orange. In it's own right it can be a beautiful color. But not as the only lights on a Christmas tree. I'm sure most people liked it, and I'm not trying to knock their tastes. Anyway, we only went to eat at Jiko during the black of night so I wasn't able to see it in the day, but I'm glad to see it had some redeeming value.

Brandi, thanks for the photobucket advice. I will do that soon and probably do a small TR, this trip was just chock full of good times.
