I just got home Sunday and am having serious AKV withdrawls ...I just love it there so much I never want to come home!!!!

My question is do I apply for a job at WDW, and if I get it, do I leave my DH back in MA and take the kids with me to FL????....my DH loves winter and I hate it! As it is approaching the thought of snow, cold, ice, and many months of it is less than appealing....but FL in the winter sounds heavenly ....I just wish I could get him to see things my way!

just want to say that one of my A/C units just died. UGH! Its still hot here ...
can't be fixed until Thursday!
Its the one where the bedrooms are - not the downstairs tv room....
vacation can't come fast enough!

So glad you got it fixed before you had to leave. Now you can have fun on your girls trip without worry about mundane stuff. I just hate it when things go wrong right before vacation.

Hi all. Just back. Had booked Studio Villa at Jambo House with Savannah view. We had Pixie Dust spread upon us and when I opened the door and seen a stove I immediately knew we had been upgraded to a one bedroom villa. What a great surprise at 11 pm. (our flight was almost an hour late). We were in room 5271. Had zebras and giraffes first two nights and birds the rest of the time. Did have great animal views on main savannah and seen where they go in to be fed (they line up around 9 am for their 9:30 feeding). Will post more in next few days.

Fantastic upgrade, very nice for your birthday and anniversary.

I haven't had to deal with snow since my parents moved us out of the midwest. However, we have brought snow to our DD and DSIL on our last two visits at Chrismas in Indiana and North Carolina. They said they only get an inch or two a year UNTIL our visits.

Morning, I have to say being a Wondering Nomad is no fun but going to AKL was a blast . We had sooo much fun. It was great. The only snag was when we tried to go to AK during Magic Hours, but after that snag we never went during Magic Hours and had a blast. Go figure DS made good use of the slide and tried very hard to wear it out DD had fun trying to find Hidden Mickey's. Actually we all did Zebra Domes were very yummy and I ate my fill of those.

Needless to say, Disney has yet again spoiled all other hotels and amusement parks But now I get to see how Tokoyo Disney stacks up

I write this while waiting in my hotel in Okinawa for our next move. We are waiting for housing and alowly adjusting to life here. Monday I get to test for my driver's licsence and drive on the left side
