As for my tags, I'm still bitter over it - I'm pretty sure therapy is in order - but, a lot of us here have been here for YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we started out, we were called the "jambo wildbunch" by kim - hence our tags - we were bestoed pretty RED tags, saying "Jambo Wildbunch Member" - if you see that as a tag - then that person has been one of "us" for many a moon................ anyway ------------- one day, I decided I wanted my tags to say "Cajun Tinkerbell Princess" - cause ya know, if the shoe fits and all................. anywhoooo - I figured out how to "add" that - unknowingly, I got rid of my pretty red tag.................................... and I cried and cried and cried - for months, I BEGGED that little green vixen.......... errrrrr adorable little fairyliscious sugar coated plum, and she just won't give in, she hates me - it's true - you can take that to the bank - I even tried to bride her, nothing doing - she clearly holds a grudge - I've PROMISED to never toggle a tag again............... yet she tortures me, I'm at a loss, do you think we should start a campaign - to get my tags back?? Do you think I stand a snowballs chance in fairyland??? What to do????

It's certainly not for lack of trying! You've even had lots of us Disers ask (ok, beg even) on your behalf.

Don't give up - someday when you least expect it, Tag Fairy will bestow the colors upon you again. Just keep believin' -- and beggin' every so often!!

Yes, I do know where the 2nd & 3rd (non-scrollies) came from -- and as others here know - there was alcohol involved!!!

HELP and PD PLEEEEEASE !!!

I've met my new class : only 19 pupils ( maybe one or two more will arrive next week ) , but ... many "issues" !!! Help !!!

I’ll have a boy from China , a girl with anorexia , an adopted boy (from Bolivia ) who lived … on the streets for the first 4 years of his life . I’ve already met him – outside of our school , he is still suffering from his past severe privations … poor kid , he doesn’t trust anyone but his “new” parents … We also have a kid “potentially” aggressive , with recently splitted parents …and a girl from Denmark ( not sure if she can speak Italian ).
But the pupil who makes me worry the most is a boy who is “psychologically disturbed” …
To be honest with you , I am not happy to have all these “difficult” kids in the SAME classroom , I’m afraid that there will be fighting and too many troubles .
I’ve talked about all of this with my head teacher … but we need to accept all the kids who apply for our classes ( the school needs MONEY) and I am the only teacher in the 1st course with “ patience and the necessary background” - words of my head teacher !!!

I know I’ll do my best – and I feel I already love those kids – on top of all though I have a brand new colleague ( for Maths ) , so we’ll also need to learn how to work together , she should be my “help”.

Sorry , I wasn't meant to rant ... but I needed to talk to friends !!

Yep, that's how they reward good work!

....we awoke at 2:40 this morning to a loud CRASH. When we went downstairs to investigate, we discovered that the middle glass shelf in my china cabinet had fallen and everything was BROKEN!! My XMas dishes, a crystal vase, 28-y-o Mikasa stemware, a soup tureen, a glass pitcher, my Mickey wine glasses that I got for XMas last year,....

It took an hour to clean up the mess all over the floor and on the bottom shelf. I was all wound up and it took another hour to finally get back to sleep....

Kimmar I posted on my facebook page a couple of days ago that during my vacation when the Earthquake hit, the only thing that feel was a box that had all my grandmother's china it, everything was shattered.

I was heartbroken, still am really, but one of my friends suggested that I make a mosaic of some kind to save some of the pattern and still be able to have something of the gift she gave me.

I have not come up with an idea of what I want to do, but I thought I might make a picture frame, with a mosaic around the edges and put her picture in it. Anyway, I thought I would pass it along to you too. Maybe you can make something out of the pieces.

What a lovely idea! Post the results when you are done!

Whoa! I posted that I was happy with my lack of tags at 1:15 and by 2:15 I had tags! And did you notice that the tag fairy visited my post and commented about what I said about Kimmar's tags and added little sparklies?????

the Tag Fairy is everywhere! You never know when she will POOF a tag onto someone. I have had my tags for years, but have never been fortunate enough to be gifted with the Jambo Wildbunch scrolling tag. That is a special tag!

Mine came from the DDA thread over on the Creative DISign Board that was the monster of all monsters and had to do with staying up till all hours of the night chatting with lots of DIS friends. One of them is from Great Britain and was getting married. Their bachelorette parties are called hen parties...

Well, I was just about to post that I will never have tags, when I posted on another thread and noticed that I have some shiny tags. The tag fairy real is everywhere. The Goodies tag came from the Homemade FE Gifts Photo Thread on the cruise forum and the pillowcase tag came from my Vow Renewal Planning Journal. I though at first that it was from either there or the cruise meet thread for our October 2nd cruise as I posted something similar on both, but the wording is definitely from the Planning Journal.

And before somebody thinks that I have an issue with pillowcases, here is the pillowcase in question:

I will have this signed by the characters on the Disney Wonder with fabric markers so that I can actually use it. I had pillowcases signed with Sharpies on previous cruises and they are still in their ziplock bags.
