On Mousesavers it says that once the bride and groom have signed their contract for their custom wedding, Disney sends them two annual passes. I've never heard this before?? :confused3

"The bride and groom each get a FREE Annual Pass (sent with the final countersigned contract paperwork, in the form of a voucher). The total cost of two Annual Passes is over $924, so this adds a lot of value to your package!" Quoted from Mousesavers.com

Yes I have heard this as well and it seems pretty customary but it is not something you should expect. Disney changes many things frequently so it is something we are hoping for but not expecting when we sign our contract in a month or so! Good luck.

Also, the wedding APs are discounted so if you would decide to upgrade them it would cost you more than the regular AP price to do so.

chipscinderelly, What do you mean by dsicounted? As in they are not the premium AP that includes wp and DTD??

No - they are a standard ap and those who have tried to have them upgraded have noted that they had to pay more to upgrade them to premium than if they had a standard ap as the wedding ap's are discounted. They work like a regular AP to get you into the 4 parks, but no DTD or water parks.

that's kind of nice of them. but i agree with the person who said don't get your hopes up. they do seem to change things a lot.

I'm not too worried about the upgrade, just having a free annual pass sounds pretty awesome to me! AND it means returning on(or before I guess)your one year anniversary. :thumbsup2

That wasnt true in our case! We just paid the difference between a standard AP and a premium AP to upgrade ours in May.

That's great - some people get lucky like that!!!

Does anyone know if bride and groom can get a discount on tickets with intimate weddings?

Does anyone know when you receive the AP's? I know it is after you sign your contract, but how soon after?

So intimate weddings dont get APs or does everyone get APs?

I wouldnt complain about getting a free AP i mean its free how can anyone complain about something thats free. I would be happy if i received anything free. Enjoy the free things in life they dont come along often

What if you already have an AP?
I think I've heard that it doesn't start until you use it the first time, so if you already have one, wait till that one runs out.
