We booked our room at OKW a while ago for the first week of May. Getting closer...

I will be going to WDW from 4/26 through 5/3 with my family, my in laws and my sister in law and brother in law(in laws treat!!). I have not been since 1984 and have almost totally forgotten everything! I am so excited and DIS is helping so much to make our vacation that much better.

I forgot to say that we will be staying at Pop Century Resort. I also had a couple of questions since I haven't been there in so long. I am going with my 7 year old, 4 1/2 year old, and my 1 1/2 year old. Are there any MUST SEE attractions? I'm trying to write out and save what I've already read about.

Does anybody know if Disney had any specials this past May?

None for the general public.
But they did in 2003 and 2004. This past May was the kickoff for the 50th celebration, so hopefully, that is why bookings were up and discounts weren't needed.
I'm really hoping there are some room discounts next May because I'd really like to stay in the Epcot area for part of our trip, but without discounts, it's probably out of our budget.

We're going May 7-13th staying at the Poly for the first time!! Me,ds8, ds10 and my sister.

DH and I are staying at OKW with my parents from 5/13-5/20! I have already started the early stages of planning

We are going May 7 -13. Staying at ASMu, except last night at AKL! It's me, DH, and DD-4. None of us have stayed on-site. DD has never been. DH has only been to Epcot, that is when he was 5! I've been to MK, but I was only 3, and MGM when I was 14. I am so excited!!!

May 4-11 for us. We're vacationing with friends and have ressies for a two-bedroom villa (currently we're booked at OKW, but may change to BWV at the 7 month window).

Hello!

We are thinking of going May 27 - June 7 with part of the trip spent at Universal.

However,the only other times we've been to WDW were in Jan and Nov and December. While we do live in a very warm climate (San Antonio, TX), we've never been to Orlando during a warm weather month. Our Thanksgiving 2004 trip got a bit crowded, but I'm wondering how this time period compares to say Thanksgiving week. Anyone have any ideas or experience?

I know we were just there in Nov, but it seems like forever ago. Life is not complete without a trip to WDW on a regular basis. That's how I feel.

Count us in. My kids really want to do the surfing lessons at TL so we are taking a quick trip down for 5 days.
