Did 43 days vanish in a time warp when I wasn't looking? Because I am REALLY ready for WDW!!!

A small vent...

My bosses have their house up for sale. They would like to purchase a larger home, but they want to sell the current one first. I decided today that I HATE their realtor. I am OVER IT. I am ready for the house to be sold or off the market. I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old to take care of. They LIVE in the house, and I expect the realtors to have some RESPECT for that fact. Showings are prohibited between 1-4 PM. But no, yesterday we had to be out of the house from 2:30 - 3:30 so they could show it. I was NOT pleased.

Today the realtor hosted an Open House from 12:30 - 2 PM. Grrr. :headache: I got back at 2:20, baby was asleep and 4 year old was slumping over in her carseat on the brink of being asleep. Realtor's car is blocking the driveway. I told her I needed to get to the garage. She REFUSED to move it! Told me to park in the STREET!!! WHAT ON EARTH gives her the right to tell me to park in the street and carry the baby in from there? She could have pulled her car to the end of the drive near the garage, OR she could have pulled into the street and finished loading her things from EITHER location. SAME distance as walking across the front yard to the driveway. But nope. She left her car smack in the middle so I had to sit in the street for a full TEN MINUTES while she went back inside TWICE to collect her crap. RUDE RUDE RUDE! :furious: I get that I am not the homeowner, but in disrespecting ME she also disrespected the CHILDREN, who DO live in the house. I am FURIOUS, but I am trying to get it out of my system so I don't come across as a whiny baby to my boss. Her attitude (the realtor's) was completely unacceptable. NO WONDER she hasn't sold the house. She has NO MANNERS!

I know a little about parking issues:rotfl: I have been told that a shotgun comes in handy. :rolleyes1

Seriously I feel your pain. I remember what is wahy like when my parents sold our house. We had to dissappear all of the time!

I told DH I am not going to say anything else in relation to the house other than "OK". Open House? OK. Showings at naptime? OK. Realtor wants to host a lunch buffet and park smack in the middle of the driveway so I can't get to the garage with 2 exhausted kids? OK.

30 working days until we go on vacation. So 30 more days of "OK". Hopefully once I get back I will have amassed enough energy to get back on the "OK" horse and ride until the house is sold. :rolleyes1

I can imagine how frustrated you must be! I know something that will help with part of the problem...a parking chair! They use them all the time here to reserve their parking space! :lmao:

Hang in there. You'll be on your way to WDW in no time!!

The parking chair :thumbsup2 I think I need at least 30 of them! LOL

I guess if you are in commissioned sales you can be rude to "the help" without repercussions. :confused3

You would think YOU would be the one to be nice to! You could totally make her life difficult! You know, you have to come back o the house during a viewing because you had an "emergency" like a lost stuffed animal..... stinky diapers left "accidentaly" in random places...... :rotfl:

Is under the seat in the realtor's car a "random place"?

I am just so aggravated by the whole thing that I am having a hard time letting it go. I was told we could come back at 2 PM. I didn't expect to come back at 2:20 and be told to sit in the street for 10 minutes so she could pack up her party tray. And I am 100% serious about it being 10 minutes. My car has a clock in it.

Park your car and if she refuses to move her vehicle tell her that she'll have to help you carry 2 sleeping kids into the house - I'm sure she'll jump at the chance to help. ;) Especially if you can do it in front of possible buyers.

There wasn't anybody around to witness it.
My car is only 12 days old. When my bosses had their fence replaced the fence guy parked his truck in front of the house and the woman across the street crashed into it. I'm not parking in the street.

That is a random place!!!!!! Just make sure it is a good one!:lmao:

I sincerely hope I won't be seeing the realtor again.
