Is it snowing where you are - in the northeast?

I'm in the New Haven CT area. We had about 1 1/2" of snow this morning, and then it changed to a messy mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain which continued on and off for the whole morning. Later in the afternoon we had rain on and off, but the day was gray, gloomy, very cold and very windy.

A lot of school districts in the state had delays and there were even a few closings this morning. The morning commute was quite a mess...the storm was unexpected I guess and a lot of the town road crews were unprepared.

Of course with this being New England, it could be 60 degrees tomorrow, no way of guessing.

It was 65 and sunny here in MN :woohoo: Supposed to be the same tomorrow, cooling down for the weekend into the 40's. I am ok if it snows, it is almost the middle of Nov.

I walked the dogs in a little soggy snow late last night but it did not stick. Rain this am. It will be warming up this week per the weather service.

I'm in North Central MA. We are just rejoicing that we did not have an ice storm!:)

It was sunny and a high of 64 today. Of course I taught all day and with the time change only got to enjoy about an hour and half of it before sunset but I will take that over snow and cold. :cold:

Snow, sleet, freezing rain...our road was plowed and the trucks are out salting.

Sunny and 13C here today. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. :goodvibes Weather this nice this time of year is unheard of. Golfers are loving the fact that they can say they golfed in Winterpeg on November 8.

Still nothing here - just raining a bit.. (Not that I'm complaining!) :thumbsup2

no snow here although I see it in the forcast for next week... LOTS of wind though.. the kind that makes your toes curl! I'd rather snow than this wind!

We had a rainy, windy, icky day in the Hudson Valley. A bit of hail/sleet around 8am, but otherwise just rain.

I've golfed in every month in MN :thumbsup2. New Year's Eve 1999, 60 degrees out, New Year's Day 2000 60 degrees out-golfed a few holes each day just because. One year it was mid-60's for about a week in Feb, golfed 9 holes one day that week. Courses are still open around here, which isn't all that unusual but generally they close mid-Nov. It was a good year for golf courses-our courses were open, for the most part, the first week of March this past spring-usually mid-April is normal.
