Is it raining ICE anywhere else?!?!?!

I just noticed that the rain we were having earlier has turned into an ICE STORM!! Can winter really be that close? As cold as it has been lately (40s and below) I am starting to wonder if it will possibly snow by Halloween!

I'm glad to live down south---little chance of frozen precipitation for now. I hope it won't be cold in Boston in 2 weeks.

We had a hail storm on saturday, I sure hope winter is not too close....we did have a snow storm on Halloween night in '93, I remember because I was BIG pregnant with my youngest and used that as an excuse to force my husband into taking the older 2 kids trick or treating that year (they had to wear winter coats under their costumes)...I sat in the warm, cozy house, enjoying the neighbor kids in their cute costumes while eating candy all evening...

Hey, Angela, shut the door up there, okay? We don't want any of that winter weather here in Northeastern PA. (Hey, I know I can't avoid it, but maybe we can at least hold it off a while! )
