Ok, I'm ready to buy an Annual Pass voucher so I have it ready to go when the rates come out (we're going in Jan/Feb 08, sounds like rates could be out as soon as June or later).

But...WHERE do I buy it? AAA doesn't seem to sell them (at least not on their website, haven't gone in person to ask yet)......hubby's work and the base sell tickets, but not Annual Passes.

Is the only place to buy an Annual Pass online from WDW? So there is no way to get a discount on it? I just want the cheap one....it'll be too cold to want to do a lot in water parks, kids are too young for Pleasure Island, and I can't even remember the other perks of the more expensive, but I didn't think we'd use anything but the getting into the parks, free parking (we'll be renting a car) and food/merchandise discounts.

Thanks!

You'll want an Annual Pass for just the 4 major parks. The Premium Annual Pass covers the major parks, waterparks, PI and DQ. Otherwise, the perks are the same for both.

There are discounts on APs if you're a DVC owner. You can also get a discount if you're renewing your pass. Florida residents get a break on the cost of an AP and also have the option of buying a seasonal AP (with blackout dates).

APs can be purchased online at disneyworld.com, by calling Disney, at certain Disney Stores (call to check) and at the Earport store in MCO.

Wow...thanks for the fast answer! Ok, I'm guessing I already know this answer, but I'll ask just in case I'm wrong, lol......Grandma lives in Florida. She couldn't buy the discount passes for us could she?

No. The passes are intended for Florida residents only. And yes, they will require proof of residency...both when the vouchers for the passes are purchased and again when the vouchers are redeemed for the actual APs.

Only place I know with a discount on annual passes is DVC. You should join then you would get the discount!

We got two free annual passes when we got married at WDW this past July. Just another option:lmao:
