Is it possible to get an Airtran credit if booked through Disney?

Several months ago I booked our flights (4 people) on Airtran for October. The prices have went down approximately $30 per person for a difference of approximately $240. We have also already prepaid for seats. It was booked through Disney.

You can try. However often these are "group" rates that are negoiated between Disney and the airline meaning you aren't elgible for hte credit. You will need to call Disney

Well I tried. Disney told me to call Airtran and Airtran called me to call Disney. I didn't think I'd be able to, so I'm not too awfully disapoointed, but I did hope Disney would refund the difference in price between the packages between when I booked and now (about $80), but no such luck. Lesson learned.... purchase flights through the airline directly (Airtran said they would have given me credit if purchased directly through them).

I had the same thing happen to me last year. Yes, it is possible, but it is not easy. You need to call Disney and ask for the reservation code. Tell them you want it to be able to check in early, they will give it to you. Then call Airtran, they said they could credit you with future travel. Unfortunately, Disney gave me the wrong code and by the time I fixed it the price went up, but give it a try! Good luck!

This just happened to me too, no luck. It was only about $17 per person, but still, it added up and it's money I could have used at Disney. No go!
