Is it possible to do this type of upgrade on PH->AP?

Bought one 4 day and one 6 day PH+ tix last year....I still have one remaining park day on the 4 day and one remaining park day/2 plus options on the 6 day. Is it possible to upgrade one of these to an AP and what would be the trade off? Also, I know this is far-fetched, but could I take the 1 day I have left on each and use them towards a purchase of one AP somehow? Thanks!

Unfortunately, you can only trade in one pass per AP.

You'd get no value for the Plus options, but you'd get 1/6 (I think) of the 6 day Plus pass value toward the AP.

Likewise, you'd probably get 1/4 of the 4 day pass value toward the AP.

However, someone else might know more than I do...... but I hope that this gives you some idea of costs.

Good Luck!!

*Flower*, nothing else needs to be said. Your answer was perfect. :)

great! thank you! I bought the tix at a discount (of course!) but I'm assuming that the 1/4 or 1/6 would be the cost of a PH or PH+ at the WDW park ticket window. Also, another question....they don't sell 4 day PH+ tix so how would they calculate that? (Gotta keep you guys thinking!!;) )

I am sure there is a price on the back of that ticket. They will know what you paid for the tickets and will use that amount as the basis of the credit.

Don't assume since you'd be wrong. ;) The credit you get will be based on the wholesale price of the ticket that Disney sold it to the wholesaler you bought it from. It will have nothing to do with what Disney charges at a park ticket booth.

All Disney admission media regardless of where you purchased it or whether the same ticket is actually sold at the park has the price information encoded onto the magnetic strip on the back of the ticket. The Guest Relations CM just swipes it through the reader and they have the information of how much your ticket is worth for upgrading purposes.
