Is it possible there are no rooms available this coming weekend?

I have never planned a last minute trip like this and was looking for a moderate this coming weekend. Well there is not a single room available except for some grand suite at corondo...is this possible?! Not one value/mod room available on property anywhere?

All I see on Kayak is AoA suites ($460), Contemporary ($475) and CBR ($415). There are tons of places available off site on Priceline for around $130-200, Swan is available for $384. You could also try a PL Express hotel - check out the PL Express info on the discount codes and rates section.

Definitely possible.

I know NYC schools are out on Monday and Tuesday because of Rosh Hashanah, so I suspect there may be more than a few people heading down for a last mini-break (myself included).

I agree that its possible, but are you looking at more than one night? There may not be availability for consecutive nights. For instance, if you are searching for Friday and Saturday night, there may not be a value or mod that has both nights available to accommodate you. But there may be a value or mod that has Friday availability OR Saturday availability. Those resorts would not show up in your search unless it can accommodate each night of your search.

Disney has entire marketing teams who's one job is to make sure every room is sold every day. So yes. it is possible.

A lot of schools in New England are also off on Monday, that's why we'll be there this weekend as well.

That, plus the final Illuminations on Monday I'm sure is bringing people in for trips this weekend. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a pretty crowded weekend!
