I am suffering from serious AKL withdrawal, had to skip this year's stay/Expedition Everest run due to vow renewal planning and I really can't wait to be home again.

My parents will be joining us as well and I can't wait to show them my favorite resort, I am sure they'll be so happy, I am taking them to eat at both Boma and Jiko and introducing them to zebra domes.

Sadly I'm only at AKL before the wedding - I'm moving to the GF the night before with my bridesmaids and Jack is staying in our AKL room alone.

Then after GF we're at BW for 11 nights and BLT for our final 3.

I do wonder if we've done the right thing not going back to AKL as we loved it so much last time, but we're excited to try new resorts - and we love DHS so are excited to be close to it.

Ok, I survived the call to unemployment...What happens is, you're allowed 30 weeks, but they shut you off at 26 weeks until you calll and tell them that you're still unemployed, then they automatically extend you 5 more months if needed...Whew....Only part that stinks, is the amount that your stub shows you're entitled to between weeks 26 & 30, you don't get..But you don't miss any weeks receiving a check, either..Now I just got to find a job in the next 5 months.

Glad that you got the unemployment stuff worked out, now fingers crossed and pxie dust your way for finding a job in the next 5 months,,,, sooner than later!

Well, maybe I can pick everybody's brain here. DH and I are doing bridal portraits at AKL Jambo and maybe if we have time Kidani before going over to the GF and the Wedding Pavilion.

We are having what nowadays is called a "first look" I will meet DH after I am all done up and ready on my gown and finery and he will see me then for the first time and our photographers will capture the moment.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a beautiful, but quiet spot at Jambo or Kidani that we could do this at? I have been thinking about it over the past months, I am not very familiar with Kidani, I have been there just to eat at Sanaa once this year. We did some pics with our photographers around Jambo in March and it was so much fun.
