Only 5 days to go. My dilema, should I go straight to my room or stop at Mara and get me some Zebra Domes. We should arrive just before lunch. I guess it depends on if my room is ready or not.

We will be arriving if all goes as planned about 11am so I made an ADR for Sanaa but not until 12 :40pm that way if we are late or the room is ready and we want to check it out first we will have the time, I decided having lunch at Sanaa and watching the animals will be a great way to start off our vacation after seeing the pics of Sanaa on the DIS, but I will be heading to Mara for those coveted ZD's to take back to the room afterwards

I'm not sure how many of you heard - but, a little over a month ago I was in a pretty bad car accident - I'm OK - was injured - but, I'm MUCH MUCH better and feeling good! I'm still in physical therapy - getting easier each day - I'm finally able to sit at the computer again!!! LOL I'm so happy to be back and wanted to Thank those of you who sent me get well notes and good wishes - you guys are the BEST!!!!

Anyway - was missing my Jambo, Kidani and WDW - so, I'm back - and so happy to see all of you again!!!!

So excited ! Will be arriving in about a month. Normally stay at SOG, but a friend of mine raved about AKL, so we decided to book for our quick trip for MNSSHP and F&W. Everything is put together, already have an ADR for Boma and added Sanaa yesterday after reading about it. Was planning to spend alot of time at the parks, but splurged on a Savannah view and requested Arusha - may have a hard time getting off that balcony! Are they good about honoring requests? I don't think it will be too busy when we go.

Hi guys, It has been quite some time since I have posted. My Father-in-law, DH's dad is dyeing. We lost mom in July, now dad is not doing well at all. He has COPD just like mom. The doctors game him 2-3 days, that was over two weeks ago. He is a strong man who we all love and want around for many more years to come. All the children are here now and we have been doing all we can for him. He has requsted that we clean out mom's things, which we have been working on. There is so much stuff (thought I had a lot of purses and clothes)

As you all know we are schedule to leave on our trip in 11 days. I don't know what we are going to do at this time. Dad told us to go, when he was still communicating on a regular basis. But he also told the sisters to do their trip which they cancelled and flew here (they were going to Orlando) I don't know what we should do. I know we have to make a decision really soon as far as Disney goes and getting any of our money back. What should we do? Does Disney need letters from hospice and such to refund us? Sorry guys, we have been running for weeks now and doing night duty for dad. Guess I am tired and just need some DIS friends. Thank you

Ok, Im leaving in less than 48 hours!!!! We wont get to MCO til 9 pm. Do we ger the luggage ourselves that late? THis is the first time flying in at night not staying at Hyatt in the airport, so I wasnt sur. Second, Is Mara open late? I know the girls will want a light bite before bed. We should get to AKV by no later than 1030.
Im actually going to get my FIRST zebra dome(with the booze, please) -will I be able to get one that late? Thanks all!!

Angel- I am so sorry to hear of your FIL ilness I don't have any advice on the cancelling as I don't have any experience with cancellations, I'm not sure what Disney needs to give you a refund...I hope someone has the answer for you

ree123-it's almost time You're using ME? You don't need to get your bags, ME handls the luggage until 10pm..You should make it for the Mara, but might cut it close, I'm sure they close at 11pm, kitchen closes much earlier, but you SHOULD be able to get zebra domes if you hurry.
