Honestly, no need to do online check-in with a CL stay. But you're right, you can't enter any requests in the "requests" box for online check-in. If you made your room requests through either Reservations or the IPO, you should be set.

If you're NOT using DME, no need for your flight details to be listed. What I would suggest you do at this point (for your peace of mind! ) is contact IPO, ask them to make sure your room requests are noted and ask them if they need your flight information.

I have read that concierge are not allowed taking tips, but gifts are okay? If this is the case, would you try to give something from your area, your province or state? Also, how many are there? Is it just Don and Juanita Diane?

Next question. I decided to do the online check-in (just to add to the excitement more than anything) and one of the paragraphs says "I understand that the available credit account limit varies by Resort hotel, ranging from $500 to $1500." Does this just apply to charges at AKL? We were planning on using our Visa for most purchases so we don't have to carry much cash.

We checked into AKL CL tonight about 6:30 and have loved every minute of it. We have a great room (with bunk beds! - even though we won't use them). The animals were waiting for us out on the savannah outside our balcony. The concierge lounge is a great place to just relax. We had a drink at the pool bar, Boma for dinner, and another cocktail at Victoria Falls. I had an Amarula cordial in the concierge lounge after dinner (yum). We are very excited about this trip!

Relaxing in our room watching Big Brother finale now. I will post pics when I can get them uploaded.

Brenda, I am so thankful I don't leave in 5 days. Way too much left to do. We leave in 3 weeks and 1 day.

We are leaving in about 8 hours! I am so excited. We'll make it to AKL about 7pm on Wednesday. I'll try to post pics along the way.

Thank you for updating us so quickly upon your arrival. Hmm sounds like I need to make some notes for starting a vacation. Drink at the pool bar, boma for dinner, drink at Victoria Falls then contails and dessert in the concierge lounge. Sounds like heaven with a few beautiful animals added in. I know there is a large group of us heading to WDW in the next two months, during the Halloween parties. Are any of you going to MNSSHP? We are going for the first time. Just finished getting all the needed items for our costumes. Anyone else wearing a costume?

AKL CL IPO is so awesome. Got an e-mail today from Don that he was able to get us into Le Cellier during our trip. Didn't think it would happen. My DH had told Don to let the ADR I made at LC go to schedule a anniversary surprise. I am so excited, we get dinner at Le Cellier and I get a surprise tour.
