We are not at AKL this trip. October and Food & Wine always have us at the Beach Club. But I am assuming you will be in Epcot because Laura said we could have a drink and/or a nibble around the World Showcase. I think. Maybe there was more to it and I don't remember!!!

Tomorrow will be two weeks until we check into AKV.So excited! We've never stayed there and are new DVC members. In Feb, on a cold and wet rainy afternoon, we took a bus with our boys and spent the afternoon there. We had lunch, looked for hidden mickeys and pin traded. What a gorgeous resort!

Has anyone tried the FitFlops or the ShapeUps for use in the parks or everyday use?

I have Plantar Fasciitis and have heard good and bad things about them...

I have both the FitFlops (not the Mickey ones) and the ShapeUps...They were both pretty comfortable for walking around the parks. If it's sandal weather, I practically live in my FitFlops, they're great. The ShapeUps are good too, I just prefer the FitFlops.
But they'll both be coming w/me in Dec, cause it might not be sandal weather then.

They are SO comfortable. I pretty much only wore those two pairs of shoes for our whole 2 week trip last year!

Going to take 3 pairs next time and them some fancy shoes for any smart dinners and that's it! I love fitflops!

Do either of you have any problems normally with your feet, they are sore or hurt after a day in the parks? I guess I am just trying to gauge if I can wear them, maybe I can try them and bring along another pair of shoes for the day and see....
