Donald is #1-Absolutely Beautiful photos! Thank You for shareing
Just so there's no confusion, The Mara should have both types - with alcohol and without. Just check the package label to be sure you're purchasing the one you want!
Robbie, the pictures are awesome. Looked like you were IN the Pembe Savanna!!!
Donald is #1,
Awesome pictures of the Pembe Savanna (especially the Okapi)!
Kathy
great pictures of AKL!
Thanks everyone!
All of the Pembe pictures were taken from all balcony including the sunrise photo. I didn't post it, but you could actually see the top of Everest from our balcony along with the tops of the MK fireworks.
They may be a bit mis-leading in that we were on the 4th floor and my point & shoot camera actually has a 16x zoom on it. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Pembe savanna even though there weren't any giraffes or zebras. Except for when we first got up in the morning, there was almost at least one or 2 animals outside. We were in room 7863 I think. It is in the second to last bead near the elevator.

Today is day 2,better hurry!
Our actual trip will be 10-11 days but I couldn't book that far yet. I am thinking about switching to a savanna view room for the last few nights so that we will be guaranteed to have a savanna view for at least part of the trip. Plus I won't have to worry about calling day by day to add the additional nights.

for 'medicinal purposes', of course.....
Stacey!

Our countdown has begun. Just a little over 3 weeks (23 days to be exact, but who's counting) to go. Looking forward to some ZDs (all the folks in the know call them ZDs, right?
