Yup, went off without a hitch (or, rather, WITH one, if you'll excuse the pun). Someday I'll find time to upload and post pictures...maybe even recount it. Suffice to say, wife was surprised, ecstatic, excited, and very very happy! A good time was had by all. Well, except for my Sister in law..but that's another story (pale skinned people from the NE US NEED TO USE SUNSCREEN!!).

The problem is: I came back from the trip to professional chaos, and it hasn't died down yet. Won't until (I'm pretty sure) late October. Then we'll have gotten through the staff changes, regulatory reviews (FOUR OF THEM THIS YEAR!!), state and national reporting requirements (and massive changes), and everything else. Back more to the status quo.

I've pretty much disappeared from the DIS, except for occasional lurking. The past couple of days I've been "back" while some very long database queries are running and my machine is otherwise held hostage. I'll be back to "normal" come Monday...unfortunately.

Good evening all. Well we are settling down and getting ready to leave tomorrow afternoon. Laundry is done.

Yesterday we went to Mara for a early lunch. Missed breakfast again. After Mara we went to Hollywood Studios where Mom and grandson got on TOT for the first time. It was priceless. Mom also got on RRC. She liked it. But she said she bumped her head too many times.

We ate at Boma again. Gotta love it and put the kiddies to bed. Sister, GF and I went to Epcot since it was open until midnight. We had plenty of Grand Marnier Orange Slushies. We did some shopping again and went in for the night.

Gotta go. Finishing off the night with a bang. Doing Wishes Dessert Party. Full details of the day later.

The streamer is on the second floor of Sunset Savannah. I can't get over how close they are to the giraffes! I wish CL rooms were on the second floor

"I got the okay from Wendy to let everyone know why she is away from the Boards. Wendy was in a car wreck last week in her husband's new car (they had it less than 48 hours)...he was taking her out to lunch and some shopping. They were stopped at a light and were hit from behind by a car going around 50 miles an hour. Luckily, her husband was not injured...but Wendy was and the car was totalled. She suffered a concussion and torn neck muscles.

She is getting a little bit better every day but it is probably going to be a long recovery process so it will be awhile before she is back on the Boards. Thanks for everyones understanding!

If you get a chance...send up a few prayers and good thoughts for a speedy recovery!"
