Hi everyone! Just wanted to come share my excitement! My fiance and I just booked our honeymoon for next April at AKL. This will be the first time we've stayed above a value resort, so we're really excited. Also hoping it will be worth the price (I'm sure it will!!) as there are NO discounts for our dates yet. We're getting married April 1, flying out to Disney April 2, and staying until April 10. Reading through this thread really helped with our decision!

AKL is so beautiful at Christmas. All of WDW was even more magical at Christmas time on our last trip.

Thanks! Yes, he loved Kidani. He has now joined in my Jambo House versus Kidani debate. He is leaning towards Kidani, but he agrees that it is close. Of course, we did make it to Mara's three times for breakfast so that we could have Mickey waffles.

Thanks! Yes 10 days was great. It gave us time to relax and not worry about not seeing something. Though we never made it to the pool. It was too hot in the beginning and then he preferred to relax in the AC'ed room.

When I take my niece next year on the other hand, I am going to have to pry her away from the pool.

Well Hello from AKV!

Got here safe and sound Sunday afternoon. First let me say. Why do you have to be put on a plane with persons who don't believe in Deodorant? Whew

I am in Room 7810 on the 4th floor. I got the room I wanted somewhat. Instead of the room next door to the one I stayed in in May, I am actually one floor lower next to that room

The room is beautiful. Dedicated. 2 br. SV. Plenty of space. The kids have taken a swim in the bathtub already.

We hit Boma first thing. Food was delish as always. ZEBRA DOME SHOT!

Everyone loved the Zebra domes.

We went to Hollywood Studios and rode Tower of Terror and Rocking Roller Coaster and ended the night with FANTASMIC.

Yesterday we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. It was nice. Was kinda bummed though. The Mad Hatter we had was very meek. I like the loud and rowdy one.
But here's a pic.

We went to MK. Rode most of the rides. Fantasyland looks like a construction zone. They are doing their best to keep it looking decent but trying to go on Winnie the Pooh with it all boarded up was a turnoff for me. As long as the kids had a great time. It was ok with me. We left before the parade.

They were tired and I went out for a drink or two at Victoria Falls in AKL. I could have gone to the one at Kidani but I like the one at AKL.

They only have 4 items at the bar to eat.
