I never went in Sept/Oct. Would love to but school so we usually pick the last week in August before school starts. We are ending our trip with the Wishes Dessert Party. I think we will do Fantasmic the first night. The second night 8/30 we will do the Electric parade even though we will see it the night of the wishes dessert party. I don't know if the view is that great from tomorrowland to see the parade.

We have dinner at Boma around 6:40pm. I am going to go there early so we can be out by 6pm. That should put us at DHS at 6:30- 6:45PM

Have a wonderful time. Never did CL. May go for it when we go next year.You will love Discovery Cove. They serve Anhauser Busch products too. Thats how I got hooked on Bud Lights with Lime.

Hi everyone...I hope all of you are doing great...cant believe its almost the end of summer!
Cant believe F & W is right around the corner....or the 1/2 Wine & Dine marathon I am in...yikees!
My cousin who has not been to WDW in 15 years is joining us this trip..and she is SO excited to be staying at AKV...for 3 nights...even used more points so SHE could have the sav view.....sigh.....(LOL)

Hey lady - hope the training for the marathon has been going well! So sad that we are just going to miss you guys again this year. We arrive about a week later this time.

About 4 hours ago we bought into DVC and our first stay at "home" will be in Kidani(sp?) at AKL in 45 days. We just this morning paid off our original trip this morning and that was at POR. A few hours later we were on the phone with DVC with our cc buying in ! AKL looks amazing.........Theres a gizillion pages of info...Whew

Hello you!!! Henry is wearing the shirt from Ava AGAIN this trip. It has appeared on every single trip to date. I think after this year he may outgrow it though...we'll see.

It is NOT good at all. You can hardly see it, and there is the "dessert buffet mad dash" when everyone comes into the area - which is about the same time the parade starts. You can kinda see the floats, but not well.

Hi all im new to Dis and not really sure how it all works but i wanted somewhere to get excited about my holiday and chat to other Disney loons like me ....my hubbys does a good job of putting up with my excitement but he can only take sooo much lol and the kids well they are excited but then Ben 10 or something comes on tv hahaha
Our trip is on the 23rd of september until the 14th october so if anybody else is going then drop us a line
It will be our 1st time in a Disney Deluxe we have stayed at Pop twice before and fell in love with the place England has nothing really like it and i was blown away so im guessing this place is just going to make me keel over.....
We are doing MNSSHP for the 1st time too its our 2nd wedding anniversary ( we got married at the Disney pavillion) it was amazing!!! my eldest boys 8th bday and we have 5 yr old twins nanny is also coming she is disney mad like me and took me loads as a child anyways hope im kind of in the right place

It will be my DN first trip, my sisters first time at AKL and she hasn't been to Disney since 2004! Let the planning begin.

Now I am just trying to figure out if we should request a special trail or not bother since we will have 3 rooms and hope to have 2 of them joining and the 3rd close by. Plus DN room has to be deep cleaned for Medical reasons. But savanna view here we come!

You are definitely in the right place!! Glad you found us!! THREE WEEKS at WDW????!!! What kind of accommodations do you have? Lots of AKL/AKV lovers/experts here on this thread so feel free to ask any questions you have. How exciting! I don't know with this new "Arusha Savanna" category how that might affect room selection, but at least you have plenty of time before you have to make your requests. Think of the fun you'll have in the next 12 months planning this special trip!!

I think it only affects those paying for rooms. I did see another thread though that CMs are not taking room requests. Someone mentioned it may be those who are booking value rooms and wanting SVs only.

I think I've officially gone over the edge...
Yesterday DH and I stopped in Bath and Body to get some Halloween hand sanitizer (that's NOT the crazy part ). ANYWAY... they have a new orange scented soap. DH and I tried it, and as soon as I got a good whiff I almost shouted - "Hey, that smells like Soarin'!" DH just rolled his eyes and said I could find a way to relate everything to Disney. The lady working at B&B said she'd never been to Disney, so I had a long talk with her. DH left me behind!!!
