Well the snow stopped falling and the refrigerator is fixed. We never buy the insurance for appliances but for some strange reason (probably because it was right after tax time and we had the extra money) we did for the fridge. It was $49.99 for 3 years. The parts and labor today would have been over $450.00 so I feel blessed today!:worship:

Mysterious ways :thumbsup2

It never seems to amaze me though the cost to get something fixed is at or near the original cost of the whole appliance. My fridge was expensive, but I do know there are some that you can buy for what they fixed mine for.

This fridge definitely is more exciting than my fridge:

I a small fridge for an office that is over 30 years old. It is ugly wood panel color but the sucker will not die. It has been dropped, run into and had a million things stored on top of it and it just keeps on keeping on.

Have you the new Denny's commercial about their Bacon maple sundae?

....he was foolin' around with his buddies - you know, typical 16-year-old teenager, wrestling stuff, when he apparently hit his ear.....he said that his ear was hurting him on Monday, but not so bad yesterday, until one of his classmates happened to look at his ear, saying, "WTH happened to your ear?" He's a wrestler, so he knows about 'cauliflower ear'; they both went to the gym teacher who looked at it and suggested that he see a doctor. Well, Dylan called me from school, where I picked him up and we immediatley went to his pediatrician. An hour later, was were headed for the emergency room and waiting for the plastic surgeon to look at his ear. Originally, the ped. dr. said that it was a hematoma, but Dylan actually tore (fractured) the cartilage. So, the surgeon had to cut it open, drain out the fluid, repair the torn cartilage, and sew it back up...

OH my gosh........... hope he feels better!!!

Temp agency called me this morn before I left for work to see how I did @ Dr's...Told me I should've gotten a note to stay out..I go to work, and boss told me, thank goodness I didn't listen to agency because they would've let me go note or no note:scared1:
